Every oneo us requently comes across many instances o wall chalking in theorms o various advertisements, election campaigns or else as a ree-dom o expression or writing absurd and hideous comments against thegovernment or its ocials. We see the city walls being deaced by all theseillogical advertisements, comments and annotations which not only spoil

the beauty o our country but also project a wrong image o our nation atthe world level. Tis is because we, particularly the youth, nd a reugein such grati on the walls to let out our rustrations due to the intricatetimes our nation is going through right now. MW took the initiative todo something to remove this illegal practice o aggressive wall chalkingwhich, in act, is prohibited by law according to the Punjab Prohibition oExpressing Matters on Walls Act 1995.Street Art Competition was organized by MW with the similar inten-tion to Review the Walls o Lahore and eradicate the eccentric and illegalpractice o wall chalking. rom various institutes o Lahore participated to eliminate the incongru-ous advertisements and to paint the culture, tradition and attributes oour beloved country covering 55 walls o Gulberg area within 2 days.
