Two parts:
1. Prejudging of content – Evenin/Morning Your creative thought Your file, journal, and poster The judges think of questions to ask you
2. Interview - Afternoon You tell the judges about your project Judges ask questions and you answer
them

CHIEF JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL!
JUDGES ASSESSMENT
Judges will evaluate your project like this:
Scientific ability & creative thought – 50%
Display: Your poster, file, and journal – 30%
Interview: The way you explain your project and answer questions – 20%
TOTAL : 100
PART A: SCIENTIFIC ABILITY
TO EVALUATE YOUR SCIENTIFIC ABILITY,
THEY WILL LOOK OUT FOR:
Good command of the scientific method Scope / range of investigation Aim Method Results Analysis Conclusions
PART A:CREATIVITY, ORIGINALITY
TO EVALUATE CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY,
THEY WILL LOOK OUT FOR: The amount of research you did The originality of your approach – how you did it Your use of resources – books, internet,
professionals Your depth of planning and execution of
investigation
PART B:WRITTEN COMMUNICATION(POSTER, REPORT, JOURNAL)
Display of project is bright and eye-catching Poster summarises project and is neatly
