Do not use in air deficiencies atmospheres;

Do not use for protection while working incontaminant atmosphere

Do not use to provide protection from highheat, flames or carbon monoxide.

Since the neck seal of therespirator seals around

the users neck, it isimportant to remove anyneckwear such as ties or

jewelry and any hair thatinterfere with neck seal.

Remove the sealed foilinner bag from the carrybag.

Remove the respirator

from the foil bag bytearing the bag open

With the nasal cup

facing away from you,place your handsthrough the respiratorand stretch the neck

seal.

Slip the respirator overyour head until the neckseal is around your neck

Assure the head harnessis centered on the crownof your head.

Smooth any rolls in theneck seal and clear anyhair, clothing and assureand effective seal

Position the nasal cup overyour nose, mouth and chin;

Tighten the respirator by

simultaneously pullingback towards the crown ofyour head on the headharness straps located on

each

sides of th

e respirator.

The nasal cup should remainsnug to your face while therespirator is being worn

Each time that the hood is put on you should

check the effectiveness of the seal of the nasalcup to your face by performing a positive andnegative pressure seal check

Using the palm of your hand,block the openings in theexhalation valve guard andlightly exhale

If the nasal cup bulges lightlyand no air leaks between thenasal cup and your are detected,a tight seal has been obtained.

If air is detected to be leakingout, reposition the nasal cup, orreadjust the tension of the headstraps and repeat the positivepressure check until an effectiveseal is obtained.

Place the palm of the hand over theopenings in the cartridges, inhaleand hold your breath for about 5seconds;

If the nasal cup collapses slightlyand no air leaks between the nasalcup and your face is detected, aneffective seal has been obtained;

If air is detected to leaking out,reposition the nasal cup, and/ orreadjust the tension of the headstraps and repeat the positivepressure check until an effectiveseal is obtained.

Go to an uncontaminated area;

Loosen the head straps by placing your thumbsunder the head strap buckles and push them

forward;

Grab the neck seal with bothhands, and pullthe hood over your head.
