Calls & SMS Filter

The call and SMS filtering enables you to filter incoming calls and messages. You can specify numbers, phrases, words and keywords that you want to white list and black list. You can manage filtering from the following settings.

Under the Whitelist feature, only whitelisted calls and messages are allowed to the device, while all other calls and messages are blocked.

Under the Blacklist feature, all calls and messages are allowed to the device, except the ones which are added to the blacklist.

Backup

This will allow you to save all the Contacts and SMS to a folder on your memory card. In case, any virus infections or if your mobile crashes, all your important contacts and information can be restored. It will also allow you to restore all backed up contacts and SMS from the memory card.

Parental Control

eScan Mobile Security for Android facilitates you with advanced web protection and parental control features that provides an extra layer of security to your android-based mobile device. It categorizes and detects the web sites that the user visits when using Android's default browser, and blocks phishing or malware infected web sites in real-time, thus safeguarding Android-based

mobile device against evolving cyber threats. In addition, it restricts access to all other browsers installed on the device. To avoid threats and infections, the user is not allowed to access any other browser installed on the device.

The Anti-Theft feature provides security and ensures complete protection to your phone from any unauthorized access if your Android device is lost or stolen. The anti-theft feature has the options such as Block, Data Wipe, SIM watch, Lock Watch and Scream. These functions can be activated on the device by sending an SMS command to your lost/stolen device.

Block feature will lock the device on receiving an SMS command in case of loss or theft.

The Data Wipe feature will delete all your personal details and information from the device as soon as it receives the special SMS command. You can choose the information to be deleted such as Contacts, SMS, Call Log and also create/ add file list for data wiping.

The SIM Watch feature will send an SMS and email specifying the details of the new SIM and the location in case if the SIM has been changed after loss or theft of the device.

GPS Find will allow you to locate your device in case of loss or theft. It will allow you to receive the coordinates of the device to the alternate mobile number and on email.

With Lock Watch feature enabled a photo of the user will be captured from the front camera if the unlock attempt fails for more than two times.

Scream blocks the device and raises a loud alarm on receiving an SMS command on the mobile device.

eScan Mobile Security for Android comprises of Privacy Advisor that provides you the complete list of application using device permissions in a classified format. This helps you to keep a check on the security level of all applications installed.

Privacy Advisor

This option will protect you and help you to alert someone close to you that you are in an emergency situation and need urgent help. It will send an SOS message along with your device location (Latitude, Longitude). Using following options

Power Button Enable this feature to send an SOS message if the power button is pressed 3-5 times.

Shake Device - Enable this option to send an SOS message on shaking the device 3- 5 times. After shaking the device you will have to tap the 'Send Message' button to complete the message sending process. This is to avoid false triggering of the message that can occur on accidental shake.
