    USEFUL TIPS!

    Smile and look confident.

Speak clearly. Appropriate speed of delivery is also important.

If you havent understood something, do not hesitate to ask for clarification.

Use questions like: Could you please repeat that?

Could you please say that again?

When you dont know a word, ask for clarification by saying:Could you explain what means, please?

I dont understand Would you explain it please?

Excuse me, but what does mean?

Im not quite sure what this expression here means. Could you tellme?

If you cant remember a word, dont stop abruptly. Try to use other words to express what you mean.

Try to use a wide range of vocabulary and structures. Do not use the same words all the time.

Do not answer questions with just a yes or no. Try to justify your answers using examples or arguments.

Remember, no answer is right or wrong, as long as it is justified.

When you need more time to think about what to say, use phrases such as:

Well, lets see now.Well, let me think.

Always look at the person you are talking to, whether its the other candidate or the examiner.

    Disagreeing with your partner

Im not sure I agree with

    Partially agreeing with your partner

    Of course youre right, but

    You could be right, but

True, but, on the other hand,

Yes, but there are other things to consider.

    Add ideas

    One more thing is that

    Yes, and whats more,.

    In addition
