A few years ago, Mr. Tony Loring was featured in a Washington Post article, and we remain very proud of him and the positive changes he has been making to ensure that his children continue to thrive. If you have not read the article before, click HERE. Also, below is a video that we had done to show our appreciation for Ward 7 fathers. We hope you are inspired by the video and enjoy it as much we do.

Last month, we held our Annual Meeting which was very well attended and we want to thank everyone who shared the evening with us. At the Annual Meeting, we said goodbye to three of our board members: Latisha Atkins, Mary Bogle, and Rev. Dr. Shawn Jegede and welcomed three new members: Lisa Bryant, MSW, Dr. Jacquelyn Henry, and Morris Redd. Please join us in thanking our former board members for their service to ERFSC, and also welcome our new board members who are more than ready to serve the agency with passion.

As we get ready for a very busy Summer, we are enlisting your help in getting Ward 7 youth and families to complete a Survey which will help us to cater services and events to them. Please click HERE to access the surveys and do not hesitate to contact Rosie Parke at [email protected] if you would like the PDF versions emailed to you. We are trying to get the Surveys completed ASAP as we are now planning our Ward 7 Family and Youth Expo which will take place on Saturday, August 22 and the survey results will help to plan a more customized program for our residents. If you would like to collaborate with us on the event or be a sponsor, do not hesitate to contact Ms. Parke.

Have a great weekend, and again, Happy Father's Day and welcome to Summer on Sunday.

    Sincerely,
