MFDs can only be accessed when users key in their IDor swipe their card to open up the Billing Code display.Users must then enter a billing code before proceeding to the follow-you-print, copy, scan, or fax functions. In the exception where users have only one associated billing code, it would then be automatically assigned to the job on hand.

Using just your own card, you can simply scan to access, manipulate and print from any MFD located in any department or building within the organisation. This directly does away with the need to replace or standardise cards used by different groups of users and helps save on time and costs.

The Equitrac Card Reader can easily be onto any Fuji Xerox MFD, with no additional terminals or accessories needed – just swipe, and enjoy secure printing across the board.

Secure Document Technology In most businesses, security is usually a top priority. Equitrac makes use of Secure Document Technology, which utilises existing authentication to guard access to any MFD. You can only unlock a MFD by one of the following means:

• enter a PIN code on the MFD display• enter a twork user ID/password on the MFD display• scan an ID card using optional magnetic card/contactless
