EARLY HEATING & COOLING EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT REBATES 2018 Generous rebates of up to $3,250 are available for replacing functional heating and cooling equipment that is aging and inefficient! Take advantage of these rebates and start saving on your energy costs year after year. 1. To verify eligibility for an early heating or cooling equipment replacement rebate, call 866-527-SAVE (7283) to schedule your no-cost Mass Save Site Visit prior to installing your new efficient equipment. Mention “Early Replacement Rebates” when you call so we can better serve your energy needs. For central air conditioning and central heat pump equipment, an Airflow and Charge (AC) Check trained contractor can also verify the age of the existing equipment. Visit MassSave.com/Early for a list of participating contractors. 2. Once your existing equipment has been verified as eligible, determine if you would like to apply for 0% financing through the Mass Save HEAT Loan. Visit MassSave.com/HEATLoan for more information. 3. The new equipment must (a) be installed by a licensed contractor; (b) meet or exceed the efficiency requirements listed; and (c) be installed between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018. 4. For central air conditioning systems and central heat pumps, completed rebate form and required documentation must be submitted by January 31, 2019. For furnaces and boilers, completed rebate form and required documentation must be submitted (a) within 60 calendar days of equipment installation and (b) within one year of the verification date noted on the rebate form. NOTE: If your equipment does not meet the minimum age requirements or is broken/not operational, you may qualify for our standard rebates; please visit MassSave.com/Heating-and-Cooling to learn more.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSFor furnaces and boilers, equipment must be installed within 1–4 unit homes. Central air conditioning and central heat pump rebates are not limited to 1–4 unit homes.

• For natural gas furnace or boiler rebates, applicants must be a Massachusetts residential natural gas heating customer of Berkshire Gas Company, Blackstone Gas Company, Columbia Gas of Massachusetts, Eversource, Liberty Utilities, National Grid, or Unitil. To qualify for natural gas furnace or boiler rebates, municipal electric customers must heat with natural gas provided by a participating Mass Save gas utility.

• For oil or propane furnace and boiler, electric central air conditioning, or electric central heat pump rebates, applicants must be a Massachusetts residential electric customer of Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid, or Unitil. Municipal electric customers are not eligible for central air conditioning, central heat pump, oil furnace, oil boiler, propane furnace, or propane boiler rebates.

Fuel switching/conversion is not eligible for this offer. Distribution change/conversion is not eligible for this offer. New equipment must be residentially rated. Customers receiving the Early Equipment Replacement Rebates are not eligible for any other Mass Save rebates on the same equipment. Qualifying equipment must be installed between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018.

Completed rebate form and other required documentation must be submitted online or by mail:

• By January 31, 2019 for central air conditioning systems and central heat pumps

• Within 60 calendar days of equipment installation and within one year of verification date noted on the rebate form for furnaces and boilers
