It just gets better every year. Our 2017 Annual Hoedown for Hope was full of food, fun, dance and laughter. From the release of the doves to the last dance, everyone was busy with games, booths, donkey dress up, pony rides, bidding on auction items, posing in our pho-to town, shopping at our General Store, watching the MO Big Irons Mounted Cowboys, line dancing, square dancing and, of course, feasting on good ol' western BBQ!

Be sure to join us next year on Sept 29th!

Hi, I had a good ride yesterday and next week I will ride great too. And, Sox is a good boy, I love him.

I like what miss Dayna does, I met a new instructor yesterday Her name is Colleen she is gonna teach the class soon.

And, next week hopefully we will go on a trail ride or ride in-doors whichever works!

And, I thank EAT every week I'm there for putting it on for riders like me. :)

Well, I will return next Monday after school. :) to ride! I'm feeling confident about it! Can't wait to return next Monday. :) I cannot wait!!! Monday, I will come to class after I nap and relax from school then my mom will drive me to horsemanship for socks to be tacked up and ridden. :)

Fall Festival - 2017

Fall Festival -

Our luck on beautiful fall days for the Fall Festival ran out this year. It was hotter than blazes! But we had a great turnout, our therapy horses were stellar as were the fabulous volunteers from EAT, National Charity League and St Charles Honor Society.

EAT News Equine-Assisted Therapy

Dear EAT Family, At EAT we know that those in need of your year-end contribution grows every holiday season and this year is no exception. However, as a mem-ber of the small Equine-Assisted Therapy family, we ask that you give some thought to making EAT your charity of 2017. Thanks to your gifts, our Wildwood facility has recovered from a 2nd historical flood that left 4+ ft of water in our buildings. This year we replaced the soggy drywall with corrugated steel and the drippy insula-tion with a foam, waterproof insulation. Our air conditioner and furnace had to be replaced as well as our water heater. With the help of so many, we had our participants back in the saddle in record time. Even though we are not considered to be in a flood zone, a $2000/yr flood insurance policy is now needed. We have also done some remodeling at our Town and Country facility although that natural beauty of a 100+ year old barn is hard to im-prove upon! It is our goal to keep our facilities a haven for all who wish to come, our equines healthy, fed and happy, and our participants smiling! Thank you for considering the needs of Equine-Assisted Therapy as your very own this year. Equine-Assisted Therapy – little miracles on a daily basis!
