INTRODUCTION – SETTING THE SCEENE
• Highest obesity rates among adults in the EU (65%)• 2 out of 10 children is obese or overweight• Dunaharaszti – the first EPODE community in the country• 4655 children in total• 6-12y children were surveyed, n=1430• 10-12y children have the highest risk for obesity• 26,8% of 12y boys and 30,6% of 10y girls is obese or overweight• Among 7-10y children malnutrition is also a problem
