Sep 28-21:59 Corresponding and Alternate Angles These angles involve parallel lines... Pull Pull Pull Pull ...and straight lines that cross these two parallel lines!

    page2.svg

Jun 7-20:08 Instructions for next slide: Both top and bottom half of parallel lines have been infinitely cloned so you can drag the top half first and place underneath the original diagram. You can then drag the bottom half and place this directly on top of the last clone to show that it exactly fits over each other. This is a great visual tool for the students. Finally, to support this, drag the pull bar over original diagram to show the F angle

    page6.svg

Apr 30-12:30 Corresponding Angles These are corresponding angles and they are equal to each other Pull Pull To help us remember, we can draw an F shape

    page4.svg

Jun 7-20:08 Instructions for next slide: Drag pull bar to fit over the top of two diagrams to demonstrate other types of corresponding angles can also be found

    page8.svg

Apr 30-12:30 Corresponding Angles Other pairs of corresponding angles have been shaded below: Pull Pull

    page5.svg

Jun 7-20:08 Instructions for next slide: For alternate angles show the Z angle with the pull tab, by placing over the diagram.

    page10.svg

Apr 30-12:30 These shaded angles are called alternate angles and are also equal Alternate Angles Pull Pull To help us remember, this time we can draw a Z shape

    page7.svg

Jun 7-20:08 Instructions for next slide: To show an illustrative proof of the Z angle, once again drag the pull tab over the diagram to show that the F corresponding angle can be found, and opposite angles rule is used.

    page11.svg

Apr 30-12:30 Alternate Angles This angle is opposite and therefore equal Pull Pull Do alternate angles have similarities with corresponding angles?
