Faith of Steel Young men, ages 14 years old and older, are invited to join in

some pick-up hockey on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020. The day begins

with Mass at 9 am at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Mitchell,

followed by a family fun skate at 10 am at the Mitchell and

District Arena, and then at noon a pickup hockey game. Lunch

will be provided at the arena. Players are asked to bring a $10

Catholic Engaged Encounter

The Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEC) provides quality preparation for marriage in a weekend retreat presented in a prayerful atmosphere.

The weekend is truly a spiritual experience, enriched by the availability of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the celebration of the

Eucharist.

The weekend is Catholic in thought, morality, ritual and expression. It gives couples the opportunity to discover the deep meaning of the

Sacrament of Marriage within the Catholic Church and offer couples a unique experience which focuses strongly on fostering good

communication in marriage and the importance of God in their relationship. The program solidly supports Church teaching in all are-as. New

The next Community Men's Breakfast at Glencoe Presbyterian Church, 177 Main Street, will be held on Saturday

January 11th from 8-9 am sharp. Our speaker will be Rev. Mike Burns who will speak on his experience as a spiritual

care provider at the Southwest Centre for Forensic Mental Health in St. Thomas for the half hour from 8:30 to 9:00.

All men are welcome and bring a friend with you. There will be a free will offering to cover expenses and our support of a minister in Cuba.
