Epilogue

IN THIS ISSUE, WE HAVE SHOWN how creative ideas are fertilized acrossboundaries. We hope that thinking from the Tavistock Clinic

informs practice outside, but that equally new clinical populations andcontact with other professionals around the country provide thestimulus that leads to these ideas.

Above all, we emphasize that this work is firmly rooted in publicinstitutions, principally the National Health Service, so that we areaccountable to the community, as much as to our own child psycho-therapy heritage.
