between here and that town. We

wish this new enterprise the success

BASE BALL.-The Burnsi&'s camei

Invincibles last Sundaiy, the score be-

ing 22 to 17 in favor of the latter

club. The Invincibles •layed a good,

game and overcame their opponents

by superior batting, the fielding ofthe Burusides being rather the better

of the two, but owi• to the fact that

they have not practiced for nearly

six mnonths only two or three of the

nine Were able to strike the luall.

we anticipate that this statement will

be verified at an early day by a sec-
