The picturesque region is packed with fresh seasonal produce, with countless restaurants and cafes offering everything from fine dining to salt-of-the earth pub grub, to traditional high tea. The Valley also offers a bursting list of artisan wares, from extra virgin olive oils, specialty cheese, marinated olives, tapenades, dried fruits, pickles and preserves to handmade chocolate, fudge, truffles, nuts and nougat.

What’s more, the close knit restaurateur community here has a firm commitment to higher welfare farming practices, with the region crowned Australia’s first Humane Food Region by the RSPCA in 2014.

Entwined in the Valley 2015 is a celebration of the Swan Valley ethos – the fresh, the fun, the fair and the fabulous.

A long weekender of wine, beer, food, art, entertainment, fashion and culture held over three fun-filled days, Entwined in the Valley will feature pop up street markets, comedy shows, art, sundowners, specialty food evening and the weekend’s premier Humane Food event, Entwined in the Valley degustation dinner.

This year famed award-winning chef Matt Moran will head up the evening of epicurean excellence, joined by talented WA chefs Kiren Mainwaring from Co-Op Dining and Hadleigh Troy of Restaurant Amusé. Swan Valley award winning wines will be delicately matched to the seven courses and presented to the audience throughout the evening by Ray Jordan. The evening will be MC’d by charismatic TV personality Anna Gare.

Guests will be treated to a seven-course degustation menu expertly prepared by famed master chef Matt Moran, who heads up prestigious ARIA restaurants in Sydney and Brisbane, talented Kiren Mainwaring, chef extraordinaire at Co-Op Dining in East Perth, and the gifted Hadleigh Troy, of Restaurant Amusé.

The momentous evening will mark the Swan Valley’s ongoing commitment to higher welfare farming practices, as Australia’s first Humane Food Region. This year’s menu will again showcase fresh, humane Swan Valley produce. Each course will be delicately matched with award-winning local wines from the 2015 Singapore Airlines Swan Valley Wine Show.

Hosted by the City of Swan and MC’d by popular TV personality Anna Gare, the event will also feature wine buff Ray Jordan as sommelier for the evening.

Enjoy Roberto’s famous Argentinian Charcoal Grill, featuring ribs that are slowly cooked over a charcoal grill to enhance the taste and bring out the traditional Argentinian flavours.

The Ribs will be accompanied by some of the Swan Valley’s finest red wines, including Old Vine Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache.
