The Entrepreneurs Track brings together the main actors of the ecosystem that connects researchers, investors, startups, and industries. On May 19, David Rose (NY Angels) will take us behind the scenes and show us the startup world from the perspective of an active early stage investor. Leading accelerators will present their acceleration programs to launch startups and discuss the evolution of their role in the startup ecosystem. Startups and academic spinoffs will pitch their technologies and their business models. Ronen Feldman (Hebrew University) will present his Big Data Mining journey as researcher and entrepreneur. The ODINE incubator will present their acceleration program, which supports open data startups with €100,000 in equity-free funding. On May 20, Bill Coughran (Sequoia) will trace emerging directions to innovate the Web. Yossi Matias (Google) will illustrate Google’s experiences to promote and support innovation and entrepreneurship among universities. Uri Levine (founder of Waze) will describe his entrepreneurial journey and will give us keys for successful startup.
