Projects You will need to choose the projects you plan to participate in through your club. Ask your club leader for help in deciding which projects will be a good fit for you. You can use the Project list , as well as this Project Selection Guide to assist you in making your choice. Project Manuals All member’s order books through their club leaders. The leaders then place orders for the entire club at the office. Returning Members All returning members must be registered in 4HOnline no later than 4:30 pm on December 15, 2017 Enrollment and Literature fees are also due to your club leader by this same deadline. Leaders must turn in all fees by 4:30 on December 18, 2017. Late re-enrollments will be accepted with a $10.00 late fee until Jan. 15, 2018. If you need assistance with enrollment I can send you step by step guide-lines.
New Members All new members must be registered in 4HOnline no later than 4:30 pm on April 1, 2018, although we highly recommend you enroll by December 15, 2017. Enrollment fees are also due to the Exten-sion Office by this same deadline. No enrollments will be accepted after April 1, 2018. Please use these 4HOnline Instructions for New Families to assist you.
Add/Drop Once enrolled, you may update and/or change your electronic enrollment and projects in 4HOnline at any time until 4:30pm on May 1.

Make Your Mark! The annual Leadership Development Conference LDC will be held Jan. 27-29 in Denver. Interested youth can register via 4H Online starting Dec. 5. LDC is a fun, educational weekend promoting leadership devel-opment and community service. The event is open to youth 14 and over and registration is $160 and lodging is covered by 4-H Council. CATCH –A CALF CONTEST
Applications for the NWSS Catch-a-Calf contest are Due Dec. 1. Contestants catch at the 2018 Stock Show, get the calf mid-May and they exhibit it at the 2019 NWSS. If interested contact the office.

Market Beef Tag/Weigh In:
We will tag in Market Beef on the first Saturday in February, Feb. 3, at the Fair Grounds from 1:00-3:00. If you want to nominate steers for State Fair please let me know so we can do the retinal scanning at this time. Don’t forget you will need brand papers that transfers ownership to you. If for some reason the exhibitor is unable to be present for tag in; someone else can bring the animal to be tagged and weighed.
