It is designed for use at lower temperatures than conventional electrocleaners, which will result in considerable savings in energy consumption. ENPREP 220 EC is a multi purpose, alkaline electrocleaner for use with steel, copper and brass. ENPREP 220 EC can be used either as a cathodic or as an anodic cleaner. Although ENPREP 220 EC can often provide sufficient cleaning for lightly soiled work the use of a soak cleaner, preferably ENPREP 110 EC, prior to the ENPREP 220 EC is advised for heavily soiled components. OPERATING CONDITIONS Concentration Cathodic Anodic 50 - 60 g/l 50 - 80 g/l Temperature 40 - 70°C Time 2 - 4 minutes Current density 5 - 10 A/dm 2 Tanks, heaters an electrodes Steel MAKE-UP PROCEDURE IMPORTANT Please read handling and storage section before preparing the solution. Fill the tank ¾ full with water and heat to about 50°C. The required quantity of ENPREP 220 EC should then be slowly added with continuous stirring. When dissolved, adjust to the desired volume and adjust to the operating temperature. MAKE-UP PROCEDURE

Please read handling and storage section before preparing the solution.

Fill the tank ¾ full with water and heat to about 50°C. The required quantity of ENPREP 220 EC should thenbe slowly added with continuous stirring. When dissolved, adjust to the desired volume and adjust to theoperating temperature.

WASTE DISPOSAL

Solution of ENPREP 220 EC are alkaline. Disposal often only requires neutralisation to pH 6 to 8 with an acid,allowing the sludge to settle and discharge liquid to sewer. However, local regulations on effluent dischargemay require other treatment and you are advised to check with your Regional Water Authority.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

ENPREP 220 EC is an alkaline material. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Protect eyes with goggles andwear protective clothing. In case of eye contact flush with clean cold water and seek medical attention.Store in a dry place away from acids and foodstuffs.
