Ross Altenbaugh

Hilliard House

Thoughtful and really funny, Ross

is a natural leader. Her ENPL

colleagues appreciate her strength,

empathy, words of encouragement,

and profound comments. If Ross is

in the house, you know you are

going to be smiling! She is one of

the cool kids you’d love to hang out

with and has many great moments

ahead of her!

Kerry Kent Blumberg

YMCA

An amazing listener with insight to

boot, Kerry brings a quest for

excellence to her work. She is

forthcoming and unafraid to share her

thoughts, but always in a compelling

and life giving way. One colleague

noted that Kerry brings what is most

needed in the next generation

of leaders. A great partner on the

high ropes, Kerry is the “Village

People” of relationship building!

Mike Burnette Housing Opportunities Made Equal

Mike brings an awesome sense

of humor and natural

friendliness to his leadership.

Smart and committed, Mike

brightened our days with his wit,

ability to connect with others,

and giving nature. Mike is also

a good sport when his bed is

short-sheeted!

Jenna Clarke

Rx Partnership

Jenna’s many admirable qualities

include her quiet confidence, easy

laugh, excellent listening skills, and

wholistic approach. She has a

purposeful style and calming

presence even as she takes risks. A

very special emerging leader, Jenna

inspires us on many levels. As one

classmate noted, “I am proud to call

her my friend.”

Holly Claytor

Special Olympics Virginia

“This lady has moxie, sass, and

grace! Seriously, I want to be

her!” Described as a “quiet

powerhouse,” Holly combines a

deep commitment to helping

others with a caring style.

Unafraid to face new challenges,

Holly, aka Mighty Mouse, is also

the mother of our newest ENPL

baby!

World Pediatric Project

A woman of a million smiles,

Lauren’s compassion, eloquence

and life-giving presence make her

the epitome of Hope and Promise.

Services

Passionately curious and

engaging, Carol provided great

insights to the program! Her

wisdom, commitment, spirit of

discovery, knowledge, and status

as our “Resource Queen” make

her a real asset to the nonprofit

community.

Sarah Eisenman National Alliance on Mental Illness of

Virginia

Known for her authenticity, energy,

positive attitude, and determination to

foster change, Sarah is an exemplary

next generation leader. As one

colleague noted “I want Sarah on my

team in ANY competition.” She is an

excellent thinker and good friend who

helps us delve deeper. And to

top it off, she makes a

mean homebrew!

Avi Hopkins U-TURN Sports Performance Academy

What a guy!! Avi was the surprising

introvert who always stepped up to

the plate and got us off to the perfect

start. Avi is a fantastic leader with

infectious energy and soft humor that

sets people at ease. He encourages

others and rejoices in their success. A

brother to all, Avi elicited this high

praise from one ENPL colleague:

“I wish he was in my

family!!”

Michelle Nostheide

American Heart Association

Michelle’s big heart and pleasant

demeanor brightens the way. She

brings compassion, calmness,

solid values, and groundedness to

all she does. She makes what

seems impossible – possible! Her

presence was hugely valuable for

the “Blue Group.” And, she’s an

undercover firecracker - we are

sure of it!

Petersburg

Erin always has a big smile on

her face even while she kept her

group on task! Her ENPL

colleagues appreciate her

honesty, wisdom, wonderful

listening, and openness. Erin is

hilarious – a deadly

combination!

Jason Sawyer Neighborhood Resource Center of

Greater Fulton Hill

Jason feels the weight of the world,

and does something about it! An

activist by nature, he makes a

difference through his values-

based style and deep engagement

in the community. Wise beyond his

years, Jason is also a lot of fun to

be around. We congratulate Jason

his wedding, taking place this very

week!
