I came to Canada from Mexico. I wanted to be
independent and successful! I joined the ESL program to better myself and to have a better future. The
instructors used different teaching techniques
to help me and each of the other learners. I am very motivated studying with the TDSB. Diana
Toronto is one of the safest and most diverse cities in the world.
Serving 20,000 learners, from more than 100 countries, TDSB is Canada’s largest provider of ESL programs.
When I came to Canada 10 months ago, I could not speak English. The ESL program with the TDSB is great because they help immigrants adapt to Canadian culture. I am 20 years old and I want to continue my
education and continue to grow.
