INTRODUCTION

Vaastu is an ancient science. The interest in Vaastu Shaastra was regenerated among the Indians around 1990. Simultaneously, Chinese Vaastu Shaastra Feng Shui got recognition in India among masses. Within 3-4 years both these got tremendous coverage in media throughout the country. In the same period, use of Pyramids was started in Gujarat & South India in meditation and medical treatments. The book stalls were flooded with books on Pyramids, Vaastu and Feng Shui and the magazines printed numerous accounts on them. People in the country got intimated about Vaastu and Pyramids and they were attracted to them. Taking the advantage of this newly acquired fame of the subject few so called specialists introduced the concept of using Pyramids to correct Vaastu defects in Gujarat. A new name Pyra Vaastu was coined for the same. Many of them declared themselves Pyramid Experts or Pyra Consultants. Many astrological magazines are engaged in the campaign of PyraVaastu and selling various types of Pyramids. Many Pyramid specialists published glossy books on the subject. They have depicted the effects of energy by many drawings in these books. Many new Vaatu consultants are using these books as a reference to correct Vaastu defects without knowing the authenticity and truth of the facts in them. They even do not know how much experienced the author of the book is or what his actual aim in the book is.

Highjacking of a subject by ill-informed and greedy fellows makes it a superstition. Similar is the case of Vaastu these days. The so called Vaastu consultants these days boast of remedy through new ways, and the most popular among being the use of these Pyramid. These Pyramids have been decorated by carvings of Shri Yantra, Ghantakarna Yantra, Mangal Yantra, Navgrah, Lakshmi, Ganesha and Shiva etc. They are being sold in their respective names.

These Pyramids are made of metal, glass, quartz and plastic. One of the Vaastu consultants at Gujarat has started manufacturing the same at his industry. Now he is campaigning for his products among the astrologers and Vaastu consultants of the city, thus confusing them. Some of the novice Vaastu consultants fallen into his trap are using the Pyramids to correct the Vaastu defects.

This type of cheating and misuse of the Pyramid has prompted me to write a book to unearth this illusion and confusion spread by the Vaastu consultants. I specially visited Egypt to understand the mystery of Pyramids and stayed there quite for a while to study them deeply. I am highly indebted to Madam Joyce Filer, who is an authority on the Pyramids and a qualified teacher. She has worked in ancient Egypt and Sudan department of the British Museum. She has studied and researched on the Pyramids for years and has written a few books on the subject. Some of them like “The Mystery of the Egyptian Mummy” and “Pyramids and People in Ancient Egypt” have been published by the British Museum Press. She has decoded the mystery of the first Pyramid of King Doser and Giza, and the truth of the small tombs spread over small villages of Egypt. I am also indebted to Mr. Farid Atiya for all the detailed information about the inner and outer of Pyramids in his book “The Giza Pyramids”. I could gain proper knowledge and information about the Pyramids only after studying more than 30 Pyramids deeply and reading these books.

The problems in the life are increasing day by day in spite of all the available physical comforts. People are not at ease due to increased stress and difficulties in their lives. Most of them are worried by either one or another problem. This has created a space for the use of anything that could relieve them of their hardships and Vaastushaastra is one of them. If somebody is suffering due to mental, physical or financial problems, he will think about the Vaastu defects in his house or office, in addition to other probable reasons of his troubles. Vaastu is the most common word which is considered when a house is purchased or constructed.

Our ancestors knew well how to coordinate with the nature and use its available resources to the most for the development of the human race and to make it happy, prosperous and healthy. Vaastushaastra was created keeping all the above mentioned aims in view, by our Rishis and Munis. This was the product of their extensive research for years. All the principles of Vaastushaastra have been created to suit the nature.

Vaastushaastra was born in Vedas about 4000 years back. It is a part of the “Atharvveda”. In any civilization of the world every new concept was

introduced with a religious blend so as to make people bel ieve whatever was right for them. Similarly the Vaastu was also connected to the religious rituals keeping its scientific reasoning back. This was done in order to make the Vaastu principles universal with every body and to make people follow it without any arguments.

That’s why many people take Vaastu as a superstition. On the contrary Vaastushaastra is the medium to take advantage of the positive energy present in the nature by coordinating with the same. It is a science but is becoming a fashion these days. That’s why its scientific basis has gone backstage and the superstition is increasing or being introduced. Some socalled Vaastu consultants are now correcting Vaastu defects in their own styles, which do not have any scientific basis. Some of them search for the Vaastu defects by “Lacquer Antenna”, which is primarily used to measure the human energy. Others bury pyramid under the surface, put them on the doors or keep them in the house to correct Vaastu defects. Some use the copper pyramids with carvings to correct the Vaastu defects, while some even suggest performing the Puja of the pyramids.

A common man imagines a very big triangular shape structure of stones when the name Pyramid comes to his mind. These are among the Seven Wonders of the World. They were built 4500 years ago. It is unknown why and how such big structures were built.


Let us find out what the pyramids are. These are the oldest and most famous monuments of Egypt. These are built on the surface of the earth with four corners, which end at the top as a point. In ancient times, the people of Egypt believed that the king was like God on the earth. They wanted to keep the dead bodies of their kings safe, for which they mummified them. Now they required a safe place to keep these mummies. The pyramids were the places where these mummies were kept safely. They were built in such a way that their apex looked like touching the sky. It was the best option to bury their God like king in such a structure. It was strong enough to withstand the weather for years. Egypt has a big desert and witnesses many storms of sand. The triangular shape of the pyramids suits this, as the sand cannot deposit on these structures, thus preserving them

There are over 100 pyramids in Egypt but the world famous Giza pyramids, which are three in number, are the main attraction. These are situated in the southwest zone of Cairo. These Giza pyramids are very old and have stood the weather successfully. They have been built in a special shape. All the pyramids have different shapes but the aim was the same, to bury the King with his belongings safely.

When these pyramids were constructed in the desert many other buildings were also built with them. There were temples where royal mummies were prepared, houses for the priests and storerooms and houses for the masons.


At about 5000 BC, the Egyptians used to bury the dead bodies in sand. The scientific reason behind this was that the hot sand would absorb the moisture of the body and the Caracas would remain safe.

These dried carcasses were called “Sand Dried Mummies”. In old times, the Egyptians believed that the soul would travel after death and take rebirth later on. At the time of rebirth, a body would be required and these mummified bodies would then be useful. The trend of keeping the belongings and other useful things with the mummy was to decrease sufferings during this heavenly sojourn.

Almost around 5000 years back, the Egyptians changed the method of burying the dead bodies. They would dig the grave and cover it with a square structure of earthen bricks. These were called Mastaba. These are still found in front of many houses in Egypt, as depicted in the figure. The monarchy came into existence at the same time. The first king of Egypt was Dojar. He was very rich and wanted to build a grand

grave for himself. This desire of him gave birth to the pyramids.

Almost 4500 years i.e. 2650 BC, king Dojar ordered the construction of a grave of new style for him. Today it is known as step pyramid. Imhotep, who was the wisest at that time, designed the step pyramid for the king. He was bestowed with many awards for his work. He is still loved and respected by the Egyptians.

Step pyramid was the very first grand building built of stones completely. All the preceding structures were made of earthen bricks. The step pyramid was built in Squara situated few Kilometers from Giza. It is now known as Squara Complex. This pyramid is like a very big staircase. It has been built on a square base. Its arms end depressingly on a point at its apex. Almost all its steps are made of limestone. The limestones are arranged in decreasing order of size upwards. There are six such layers of stones. The structure was then plastered by lime to facilitate its sight. Now this upper layer of lime has peeled off revealing all the six layers inside. Step pyramid is the biggest among all the structures in the Squara Complex, as depicted in the figure.

pyramid, which have been decorated with blue colour. This decoration in blue was done to continue it into the rooms and corridors of his palace so that he would feel at home even after death. The room to bury the dead body is beneath the pyramid. This room is the most significant place of the pyramid.

Many kings after the king Dojar tried to build pyramid but only Sneferu could win the credit of building a grand pyramid. He constructed three pyramids, two of which were in Dahshur and one

in Meidum. This is in shape of staircase that has been plastered from out side.

Another pyra mid at Dahshur is Bent pyramid. The slope of this has been spread at the base. There are two rooms to bury dead bodies in this pyramid. Experts say that one of these was meant for the king and another for his queen. Some other experts claim that one was for king and another for his soul. There is a temple of king Sneferu, with his idol made of six stones, near this pyramid. The Egyptians used to worship in the temple.

The third pyramid is Red pyramid, which was built in Dahshur. It is in a slope and has a room to bury dead body.

Now we shall discuss the three biggest pyramids at Giza, which have stood the weather for so long. Tourists from all over the world visit them. These were built by three different kings almost 4000 years back. These pyramids were originally accompanied by temples and small houses in the desert. The Capital city of Cairo has spread much since then, and has reached to these structures. This pyramid is situated in the southwest zone of the Cairo city. The Cairo city has spread as “6 th of October City”, similar to the new Mumbai and New Delhi for Mumbai and Delhi, respectively. The 6 th of October city is situated in southwest zone of the pyramid, which is in the back of the same. Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure were the three different kings who built the three pyramids. As the Greeks have been visiting Egypt for centuries and they faced difficulty in pronouncing these Arabic names, they christened them as Cheops,

Chephren and Mycerinus. Now these kings are called by their Greek names.

These three pyramids are royal tombs where the kings were buried. There are many small pyramids, graves and tombs around these pyramids where other members of the royal families and their officials were buried. Some of these are still present.

The archaeologists have found 7 pits near Khufu pyramid, 5 of which are empty. They found a wooden boat in the sixth pit, buried in the soil. This has been put for demonstration in the Solar Boat Museum. It is believed that the mummy of the king would have been brought by this boat. A search of the 7 th pit reveals that there is a boat in it too. Some important facts about the Khufu pyramid are as below: 1. This pyramid was built at about 2600 BC and is

137 meter high. Approximately 23,000,00 limestones were used to construct it and were plastered by lime. The plaster has peeled off due to corrosion and is only present at the top.

meters above the surface. This is depicted in the photograph.

3. There is a slope after the entrance, which leads to a room used to bury the king. But the king was not buried here as the construction was incomplete. There is another room in the upper side of the slope, which is known as Queen Chamber but the Queen was not buried here. There is a magnificent corridor after the Queen Chamber, which goes up to the center of the pyramid where the mummy of King Khufu was kept. This is called King Chamber. A coffin made of red stones is kept here. The mummy of Khufu is not present here but his name is carved on the roof of the room.

4. There are two air shafts in this pyramid. These shafts are very narrow and no information is available as for why they were built. A robot was sent inside in 1993 to investigate the inside of them, which is kept in the British museum.

5. There are three small pyramids around Khufu, which are known as satellite pyramids and are believed to be for the ladies of the royal family. The pyramid experts believe that these satellite pyramids belong to the king’s wife, mother and sister. The Khafre pyramid was built in 2558 BC. It is

smaller than the Khufu pyramid but looks bigger because it is situated on higher place. It consists of approximately 1,50,000 lime stones. It is the only pyramid at Giza, which has a layer of lime at its peak. It has two entrances, both leading to the room where the king was buried.

King Khafre didn’t build any pyramid for the ladies of his family. But he had built a tomb for his wife near his pyramid. The tomb has idols of ten other ladies of the family too along with that of the queen.

A huge structure is situated in the east direction in front of this pyramid, which has face of human and body of lion. It is 72 meters long and 20 meters high. It is the biggest statue of Egypt and is called Sphinx. It was built by King Khafre. It seems to be guarding the pyramid. It derives its name Sphinx from Greece where a statue of the similar name already exists.

consists of two types of stones – lower portion by red brown stones and upper by white lime stones. It is the smallest of the three pyramids at Giza but is in better position than the other two. Its entrance at a height of 4 metres. The corridor, which follows the entrance, leads to the room where the dead bodies were buried. There is a storeroom near it. There are three small satellite pyramids near this, which were built for the royal ladies. There is a big tomb near this pyramid. It belongs to the royal lady who later on became the mother of two would be kings of the Egypt. It is believed by the experts that she ran the country till her sons became adults and that is the reason for this pyramid.

King Unas reigned Egypt 2375 BC. It was almost 200 years after the Giza pyramids were built. He built a pyramid for himself, which is known as Squara. It is situated few kilometers from the Giza pyramid. It is the

smallest of all the royal pyramids. The reason behind its small size is attributed to the fact that the king Unas faced severe drought during his time and it resulted in tremendous financial crunch. The pyramid is not in a good shape and has a sort of pit in its south direction, as shown in the picture. This does not have any empty space inside. There is a room inside followed by three store rooms. The room where the king Unas was buried is after these store rooms is decorated beautifully.

The continuity of pyramid construction was broken after king Unas. King Senusret built a pyramid for himself in 1991 BC, which is situated near Al Lahun village. It was the first pyramid built by earthen bricks. Yellow limestones are used in a small portion in the center of it. The pyramid is almost ruined. It also has the room to bury the dead inside the surface of the earth as in the Unas pyramid.

Two pyramids were built by the king Amenemhet in 1842 BC. One was built in Dahshur and another in

Hawara. The one at Dahshur was built with black soil and is ruined now. The king was buried in the pyramid at Hawara. It was

built by earthen bricks. Its condition is better than the other pyramids.

The last pyramid of Egypt was built by king Ahmose. It is situated at Abydos. The outer walls of this pyramid were

inclined. It is now ruined as is shown in the picture. Many rich people of Egypt built pyramids for them

like their kings. All these have one feature in common that the room to bury the dead body is below the surface

and not in the pyramid itself. It is because the dead bodies were mummified beneath the surface of tge earth, as is clear from the pictures.

The process of construction of the pyramids is the most studied one among all the buildings of the world. The experts say that the king used to choose the place to build pyramid and a team of architects would then design the architecture. Ancient Egyptians were very much influenced by the stars in the sky. That is why the advice of astrologers was also sought in building these grand buildings. These astrologers would decide how to build as per the position of the stars. They always kept the entrance of pyramid to the north, which is the direction of the Pole Star. They also suggested building them in a line.

The pyramid shape was constructed in many countries. The pyramid shape was used for one and the only purpose all over the world, to bury the dead body.

SPECIAL: The most important information we get from the ongoing account of pyramids is that the dead bodies were dried in the sand prior to burying them. Then the bodies were embalmed by some


special chemicals and mummified. These mummies were then kept in the pyramids. There is no mummy in any pyramid now. They all have been transferred and kept in a special hall in the National Egyptian Museum, Cairo. This museum is in a building constructed like any other building in the world. There is no pyramid shape built in this museum building. The hall where all the mummies have been kept is also a normal hall.

Some Indian Vaastu consultants who have written an account of pyramids in Giza have described the presence of mighty energy flowing through these pyramids. They have even prepared many figures showing the way this energy works. All this misleading information has been prepared by them on table only. Everything is being done to cheat common people. It started in Gujarat where some research was going on for quite some time on the effect of pyramid shape in medicines. Awareness about the pyramids was on its way in 199293. Some people were exposed to the Chinese Vaastu Feng Shui due to the globalization at the same time. In this period certain vested interests in Gujarat connected the pyramid to Vaastu. They initially succeeded in their endeavour. Some of the novice astrologers and Vaastu consultants, who did not know much about the Vaastu took their information as solid knowledge and started applying the same in correcting Vaastu defects without any modification. They would believe that the energy in pyramids can be used to correct the defects.

The pyramid experts in Egypt claim about the presence of over 100 pyramids and most of them are almost ruined now. Only the three pyramids situated in Giza are in good condition. The good condition of these pyramids is due to the stones used for construction and not any energy. The dead bodies of the kings and royal family members, that were buried here, were kept in the rooms beneath the surface of the earth. Their dead bodies were embalmed by some chemicals and wrapped in special cloths. The Egyptians were not unanimous on the shape of the pyramids. This is evident from different shapes of the same. Here we can note one feature specially, that no pyramid is built by iron, wood, copper, quartz or plastic. It is true that construction of such huge buildings in that time was really very difficult. Specially lifting big stones to such heightd would really have involved some of the best minds of that era. We should salute their workmanship. Now all this can be done with the help of machines and buildings many fold higher than the pyramids are being constructed these days in many countries.

This shape of pyramid is in use in many countries around the world, including India, since centuries. The huts in the rural India are still made in the pyramid shape and tents have the same shape. This shape is sturdy and stands rains and cyclones pretty well.

I did not find any building e.g. office, hospital etc. in Egypt in the shape of pyramids during my visit to the country. It was cryptic to see a pyramid shape ashtray in the duty free shop at Cairo airport.


There is a general enquiry in the mind of everybody; why are the pyramids the most sought after destination for the tourists from all over the globe? What is behind this attraction?

The reason behind their attraction can be attributed to their construction as per Vaastu and Feng Shui principles. Let’s analyse their Vaastu.

Let’s analyse the reason behind the fame of Egypt. Many countries have civilizations older than that of the Egypt. Why then is Egypt so famous? All the known civilizations of the world have developed on the banks of rivers. Egypt is a country sandwiched between two deserts– the Eastern Desert to its east, and the Sahara Desert to its west. The Nile River flows from south to

north. That’s why the southern portion of the country is called Upper Egypt and northern portion lower Egypt. The Nile originates from Nubia(Sudan), flows through Egypt and joins the Mediterranean sea. The old civilization of Egypt developed in this area only. The south of Egypt is higher in attitude than the north. The river merges with the sea in the north. It is the principle of Vaastu that any place where south is higher than the north, the north is lower and there is water in the north gets fame. The eternal fame of Egypt can be attributed to this. This country was, is and will remain famous.

Now let's study the place where the pyramids were built. It is Giza. The geographical situation of Giza is helpful in gaining fame and wealth as per Vaastu principles. All three pyramids at Giza have been built on a mound of sand. There is a slope in the north and the east of these pyramids. Almost after 250 meters from this slope starts the city of Cairo. Giza is situated to the southwest zone of the Cairo. The southwest zone of any city is always wealthy as per Vaastu principles. The southwest zone of Cairo has become heavier due to the presence of these Pyramids. This heavy southwest zone is also one of the reasons for the grandeur of the city. There is sand and only sand to the southwest of these pyramids. Third Menkaure Pyramid is situated about 500 meters apart from these Pyramids in the southwest zone at a special height. Let’s discuss the application of Vaastu principles in building of Pyramids.

All the Pyramids have been built on rectangular base. The entrance of the Khufu Pyramid is to the central north direction. This entrance has a slope, which has increased its strength. these rooms. The well and the rooms in pit are to the east of the Pyramid. The Sphinx is in front of the middle Pyramid and is lower than it, having a big pit around it. This pit can be termed as a basement without roof. There are many graves around the Pyramid on a mound of sand in east and west directions. A temple is also situated here. Thus the geographical position and the pits in the east direction confirm that this place is best for construction as per Vaastu. The front eastern portion of this pyramid is in a slope and the river Nile flows in the east direction just after the Sphinx. A slope in the north brings fame, and water in east brings wealth as per Vaastu principles. That’s why it is the most sought after place by the tourists from all over the world. This yields of lot money for the country, which is helpful in strengthening its economy. The south, southwest and

west directions of any village, city or metro city are wealthier than other parts according to Vaastu principles. This portion of any city develops fast. The northeast zone of any city always lags behind in the development and loses its significance by the time. On the opposite, the grandeur of the portion from center of the south direction to southwest zone and central west direction is increased due to the development of the city. The development in all other directions takes place with its usual speed. Same Vaastu principle is applicable on the thorough development of Cairo. The south direction of the Egypt is higher; north has a slope followed by the sea. This situation suits to the Feng Shui principles. This has made Egypt famous. The northeast zone of Giza, where the pyramids were built, has a slope. The entrance to the Pyramids was near to the Sphinx in ancient times. The hill behind the Pyramids is higher and has a slope in front of the same followed by the river Nile. Thus the place is perfect as per the Feng Shui principles. Let’s study and analyze the Pyramids that are not famous and are almost ruined now.

The Squara complex is situated on the hill of sand few kilometers in the southeast zone of the Giza complex. The step Pyramid, the first Pyramid of the world built by the king Dojar is situated here. Some other Pyramids like Unas Pyramid, TT Pyramid, Bushir Pyramid and few small structures are also present near this Pyramid. All these are in very bad shape. Some of them have turned into rubble. This situation has arrived because this place is not suitable for the construction as per Vaastu. The north here is higher. There is a slope in the south. The way to reach these pyramids is from the southwest zone. All these factors are responsible for their present condition. There is a big pit in the south direction of the Step Pyramid and the south direction of the Bushir Pyramid is lower. That’s why not even 5% of the tourists who visit the Giza

Pyramids visit this place. The attraction of these few tourists too is due to its suitability to one Feng Shui principle – one side of this place is high and the other is lower followed by a water stream. A residential and an industrial area follow this water stream.

Now here is a food for the thought that if Pyramids were able to remove the Vaastu defects at least few Pyramids in this area would have glory equal to that of the Giza Pyramids. Further they could have stood the weather also. I have seen many vendors, including some children too in very poor condition near these Pyramids. They sell water and gift articles to the visitors there. If the Pyramids can remove the Vaastu defects and bring wealth, why are these residents of the area so poor?

SPECIAL : The Pyramids had not been built following the Vaastu principles, it is sure. The directions of all the Pyramids, except those in Giza are in the center. The directions in most of the Pyramids of Squara complex are moved 1015 degrees. None of the Pyramids in the world except the three Giza Pyramids was built as per Vaastu.

We have already described that except the apex, the plaster of white lime has peeled off the Giza Pyramids too. The rooms for the priests, the graves and the tombs around these Pyramids are in very bad shape.

Now we can think if such big Pyramids can not save the structures around them, then how can a small replica of the same sold by the Pyra consultants do a wonder?

The bricks have been joined with a special pulp prepared from gourd, pulp of the fruit of Bilva, Urd pulse, Gum, and lime etc. This will provide natural conditioning to these rooms for the saints. A Pyramid shaped hall is under construction in this place. The entrance to the same will be through a tunnel. The learned saints will be treating people here for their physical and mental illnesses. The roofs of this place are also in a Pyramid shape.

The Pyramid is being presented as Pandora’s Box these days to remove the Vaastu defects. The so called Pyra consultants claim it to be the remover of Vaastu defects and yielding wealth. Pyramid shapes from Rs. 50 to 5000 are available for this purpose. Some of the examples are – Lakshmi Pyramid, Mangal Pyramid, Swastika Pyramid, Navgrah Pyramid, Vrihat Pyramid, Locket of pyramid, Ring, Show Piece and many more things. Most of these things are made of plastic and do not store energy. Moreover there is no connection of the Pyramid shape to the happiness and wealth. It can only be used to keep perishable items safe for long time. The Pyramids have been used even in Egypt, where they were invented, for keeping dead bodies safe.


The so called Pyra consultants are misusing the auspicious religious symbol of Swastika by making plastic replicas of it. Small Pyramids are made on the Swastika shape and claimed to be useful in removing Vaastu defects.

Even today in the countries like China and Egypt, it is used in its original shape. All the auspicious religious symbols, including Swastika are useful as they increase positive thinking but their use in the correction of Vaastu defects disrupts their original concept and makes them inauspicious.

The domes built on the basements of almost all the religious place in the world are in the shape of Pyramid. They are quite big structures. It is believed that the bigger is the dome higher is the energy stored in it. But if there are other Vaastu defects then this dome of Pyramid shape is of no use. The reader can imagine how a Pyramid shape of 24 inches can correct Vaastu defects of land or building. The main factor in the use of Pyramid shape is that it should be bigger so as to cover the land or the building. Moreover, it should be kept in such a way that one of its arms is in north direction and not in corner. In Pyramid therapy the shape of Pyramid is bigger than the head when used to cure headache, bigger than the eyes when used to cure eyes, bigger than its container when used to keep vegetables of a container fresh, bigger than the container when used to keep milk of a container fresh, and bigger than the farm when used to protect and increase production of the vegetables in a field. That’s why the Pyramids are not being used to correct the Vaastu defects in any country of the world including China, the place of Feng Shui and Egypt where the Pyramids were first of all found. Whereas in our country the astrologers and the Vaastu consultants are plundering the people by using Pyramids not only to correct the Vaastu defects but also to remove sufferings due to planets. Their boastings do not stop here. Some of them even suggest to perform Puja of the Pyramids.

You will be amazed to know that a clever Feng Shui and Pyra consultant has created a plastic Pyramid in a new shape to cheat people and has christened it as Syramid. He boasts of it to be ahead of all the Pyramid shapes till date. He claims it to be useful for those who do not know how to bury or keep the Pyramid to get good results. This Syramid is octagonal in shape. The creator claims to keep it anywhere in any direction to get the results. He further claims that it works with double efficiency. The Syramid can be purchased from the market @ Rs.720 per piece while it should not cost even Rs.10 per piece to the manufactures. Now this so called consultant is going to introduce a pencil of the Syramid shape, which will improve the memory and concentration of the students. He boasts of shortly introducing a vehicle of the same shape, which will keep the driver alert and save from accidents.

I have read a book on Pyramid recently where the author has claimed that the Pyramids can be useful for various purposes, such as – performing puja by keeping a Pyramid on the photograph of an ill person can make him healthy & a person can come back if he has abandoned the home. I would like to humbly request the learned author to just help the USA to find out Osama binLaden by this method. The whole world will remain indebted to him forever, if he succeeds.

increases the name & fame, one can win a court case by keeping the Pyramid on the file of the same, no heart disease would occur if the Pyramid shape is kept in the pocket etc, I have seen Pyra cards in di fferent colours recently. Fate and future are bright if the red card is used. The green Pyra card brings wealth. Yellow card brings liveliness. Business and career are developed by blue card. In nut shell these so called Pyra consultants claim that the Pyra shape can do miracles in your life. But I think no matter what happens to you or your sufferings, their fate is definitely going to be fine by this.

I would like to enlighten these so called Pyra consultants that the scientific study on the energy of the Pyramids throughout the world has revealed that their main power lies inside and not outside. While in our country, these rogues claim the opposite and thus have invented a new thing. Some of them have put Pyramid shaped stones on the Pa Kua and renamed it

as Pyramid Grid. They claim that it is a very strong article to remove Vaastu defects.

Scientific experiments have shown that the energy waves inside a Pyramid can affect living as well as dead. They have given the name of “Pyramid Power”. As my readers know very well that we cannot receive TV signals by radio waves and the cell phone cannot work by the TV waves, likewise there are different types of energies and shapes to do different works. And the Pyramid shape is not useful in removing the Vaastu defects. Yes it has been in use for the meditation for centuries.

I cannot understand the claims made by these Pyra consultants. On one hand they claim that there is energy in the Pyramids whereas on the other, they say to charge the shape by Puja. Now you yourself find the truth behind it. Actually the trick behind this all is that when these consultants persuade a customer to purchase a Pyramid on such a high price, it becomes necessary for them create story of charging it for best results to make their claims look real.

I have been to almost 40 countries as a Vaastu consultant and travelled around the country for my work, but I have not met even a single soul reporting me the benefits of Pyramids to remove the Vaastu defects. I have come across many in the country and abroad who have purchased these Pyramids and placed them as instructed, but without any result.

For example, if the entrance door of a house is in southwest zone, an underground water source near


the door in the same direction and toilet in the northeast zone then it becomes a significant Vaastu defect. Those living in such a house can never be happy. There are many Vaastu defects that cause monitory, mental & physical troubles, freightening, no children, strayed children, disputes, legal disputes etc. One can keep thousands of Pyramids to remove them but I claim that nothing will happen unless proper changes in the Vaastu are made as per its principles. It is because all these vaatu defects can only be corrected by amending the construction as per Vaastu principles.

One can find 24% people claiming benefit with the use of Pyramid shape but that may be due to some changes made by them in the building too. So that will be attributed to the changes made by them in the building and not to the Pyramid shape. I can tell you from my personal experience that the Vaastu defects can only be removed by making changes in the building as per Vaastu principles as these occur due to the violation of the same.

Vaastushaastra is a sciene and its defects should be removed scientifically. It is useless to try any other means, like – spells, charms, puja, Pyramid Yantra, Tantra Mantra & Shriyantra etc.

Few pilgrims visit a temple with wrong Vaastu and the offerings in such a temple are also scanty, even though God Himself is present there.

It is essential to construct a house or shop on a plot, which is Vaastu suitable, for the happiness of the whole family.


I would like to suggest that whenever you go to consult a Vaastu or Pyra Consultant, find out how satisfied and happy life does he, himself lead with his family? No matter whether he is financially sound or not, the happiness in life is a must. If a Vaastu consultant cannot make his own family happy by removing Vaastu defects of his house, how can he make others happy?

These teachings of the religions are really effective and are not merely gossiping. The faith in God really increases happiness in life, a survey in Australia has revealed. This survey was conducted by Edith Cowen and Deacon Universities in Australia. The surveyors found that those who had faith in God were happier than agnostics. They were more sensitive towards the goals in l ife and cooperate more with others in the society.

It is a common belief among the intellectuals that those who sport charms, Rudraksh and rings are superstitious and idle fellows. But in fact it is really fruitful to


wear them. Prof. Richard Wiseman and colleagues have assessed the effects of these symbols over the people in Heartfordshire University, England. They found that the destiny of people was affected by wearing these symbols.

Use of religious and auspicious symbols develops posit ive thinking among people. They become optimistic in life. Self confidence is increased .This increased confidence makes them do more hard work, which in turn brings success in life.

These auspicious symbols have been in use in the recent years for removing the Vaastu defects too. We can u n d e r s t a n d the foregoing account by example. If the entrance of a house or the gate of compound wall are in east of

southeast zone along with under groundwater tank ,then this Vaastu defect will definitely bring disputes among the family members. They may not be quarreling but there will be an intense difference of opinion among them. They will die for each other but not listen to each other. Sometimes the family members may be involved in legal disputes with others due to this Vaastu defect. Now to remove this Vaastu defect one can use as many Pyramids as he desires, no matter whether they are made of plastic, copper, mercury or any other material, there will not be any benefit. This defect will not go by the use of Pyramid. He will have to close the entrance door of the


house and compound gate of east of southeast zone by constructing a wall and make them both in east of northeast zone. He wil l also have to close the under ground water tank of east of southeast zone

by soil filling and make it in east of northeast zone. All these changes will remove the Vaastu defect, disputes among the family members will be finished and the family will lead a simple and happy life.

If we put “Zero” after a digit the value of the same is increased ten folds but if “Zero” precedes any digit then there is no change in the value of the same. The removal of Vaastu defects is like a digit in this example. If we put a religious symbol along with it then definitely the life of the people will become more comfortable but alone symbols can never remove a Vaastu defect.

There are some holy places, which not only attract Indians but are also famous all over the world. Lacs of people visit these holy places every year and fulfill their wishes and make their lives successful. Maa Vaishno Devi temple near Jammu is also one of them. Here Mahalaxmi, Mahasarswati and Mahakali make the temple revered by their presence.

Maa temples are situated at other places of India too but the reason of crowd in this temple is because of its geographical situation, which is as per Vaastu. It also suits the Chinese Feng Shui. Let’s apply the Vaastu and Feng Shui principles to this temple.

VAASTU PRINCIPLES: l Temple of Vaishno Devi is situated on Tricut

Mountain and faces towards the west direction. It is about 4800 ft. above the see level. The mountain behind the temple is in its east direction and is quite high. The mountain in front of the temple, i.e. in its west is low where water flows continuously.

l In the south side of the temple, the mountain is very high where Bhairavjee temple is situated. It is 6583 ft. above the sea level.This height extends up to west of Southwest zone, which is on left side mountain in middle of Hathi Matha.

l The old entrance gate of the cave is very narrow. One could move by crawling about 2 ft. and after this there is about 20ft. long cave. Inside the cave pure water flows up to the calf height. This is called “Charan Ganga”. As per Vaastu principle where there is height in the east and continuous flow of water in the west, such places become famous as per religious point of view.

l 2627 years back, visitors had to face many problems for darshan and pilgrims had to wait for hours due to narrow entrance. Two new caves were constructed in the north or northeast zone of the temple in 1997. One is used for entering the temple and another for exit. The slope of the floor of these two caves is in north direction. The situation of these caves is Vaastu suitable and this has added to its fame. As a result of this fame of the temple has increased many folds. The number of visitors has increased as compared to the past because of these two caves.

FENG SHUI PRINCIPLES: As per the principle of Feng Shui if the back side of a

building is high and the front side is low and water flows


in the front direction, then the building gains fame and remains intact for centuries. This principle gives no significance to the directions.

Height of Trikut Mountain is in the back side of the temple, which is in the east direction. Inside the temple “Charan Ganga” flows in front of Idol of Maa in the west direction. Outside the temple, in the west direction, there is slope in the mountain where water flows continuously.

Hence Maa Vaishnav Devi temple suits to the principles of Vaastushaastra and Fang Shui both. That is why this temple is famous all over the world.

This temple was very famous till 45 years back. Large number of devotees from far off places would visit the temple and wait in long queues for darshan and pay religious offerings to fulfill their desires. Income of the temple was also ample. But this is not the condition now. Today one can easily finish Puja & darshan. About five years back some construction was carried out for beautification and convenience. This construction created some significant Vaastu defects and as a result the number of visitors and income of temple has decreased. The temple is under the Govt. control due to disputes among the priests.

Following Vaastu defects came into existence due to construction; l The northeast zone of the temple was of 90 0 , which has became rounded and main gate is slightly extended due to this northeast zone is cut. Cutting of northeast zone is the main reason of Vaastu defect.

industries. Salesmen and shop keepers knowing Fang Shui sell these items on exorbitant prices by simply magnifying the success stories and earn lot of profit.

Many articles of Feng Shui are famous in India, such as Laughing Buddha, W ind Chime, Crystal , Tortoise, Three Legged Frog with a coin in i ts mouth, Pair of ducks, Education Tower, 3 Coins tied with red thread etc. Salesmen while sell ing them, praise their success in a big way. They say about Laughing Buddha that he will swallow all the sorrows of the family into his huge stomach, Pair of Ducks will keep a couple together for ever, Golden fishes invite wealth, it is believed that if the tortoise is kept in a patient's room, it increases his age. Wind chimes in the house will


brighten luck, Education Tower on the table gives success to children with good marks, Coffers of house will never get emptied by keeping three coins tied in a red thread etc. People buy these for their home and frequently gift to others too. People do not hesi tate in experimenting with them. Some people purchase them merely as a show piece, and if there is some benefit that is in bonus.

We Indians are using these Fang Shui articles as a charm in order to remove Vaastu defects and gain happiness and wealth without searching the truth behind the claims made about them. The truth is that there is no use of these articles in


removing Vaastu defects. In Feng Shui, the Chinese Vaastushaastra, there are two schools of thought. One is compass practice in which the Chinese compass Luo pan is used. PYRAMID VAASTU

Now I will mention some of the experiences of persons, who have applied Pyramid Vaastu to prevent Vaastu defects in their houses, shops, industries etc., and were disappointed.

A computer engineer started his Business in an office of at industry house situated at AB Road, Indore. A Pyra consultant advised him to put aluminum Pyramid on the floor of his office. He did it, but had to close his office in a year incurring heavy losses.

On the advice of a Pyra consultant, one of the famous publishers of India who has published a book on Pyra Vaastu by the same consultant, started using Pyramid.

Northeast zone of a mill in Ujjain was defective in addition to many small Vaastu defects. Northeast zone was higher than the southwest zone.
