For example: Sun is shining bright Perfect warm weather Rain showers I play football No snow Game playing. Monday- Reading and Writing Numbers Choose and complete an appropriate challenge. If you are confident, complete two or more challenges! Tuesday- Story Writing Write a story about one of the Egyptian rulers, Tutankhamun or Cleopatra. Try to include some facts in your stories but use your imagination too. Make your sentences as descriptive as possible by using adjectives and interesting words. You could draw a picture of your story when you are finished. Tuesday- Odd and Even Numbers Choose and complete an appropriate challenge. If you are confident, complete two or more challenges! Wednesday- Diary Entry Imagine you are an archaeologist (someone who studies history by finding ancient things). You have just been on a dig in Egypt and you have found something amazing from Ancient Egyptian times. Write a diary entry describing what you have found, how you felt when you found it and how it links to what you know about Ancient Egypt. English Maths Monday- Acrostic Poem

Write an acrostic poem about Ancient Egypt. Each line of your poem needs to

start with a letter from the main word of your poem.

For example:

Sun is shining bright

Perfect warm weather

Rain showers

I play football

No snow

Game playing.

Monday- Reading and Writing Numbers Choose and complete an appropriate challenge. If you are confident, complete two or more challenges!

Tuesday- Story Writing

Thursday- Write a Menu Write a menu for an Ancient Egyptian feast. You could use hieroglyphics for part of your writing or decorate your menu in an Egyptian theme. You can decide what sort of feast the Egyptians are having, are they celebrating something, is it someone’s birthday or something else?

Thursday- Ordering Numbers Choose and complete an appropriate challenge. If you are confident, complete two or more challenges!

Friday- List Writing Write a list of 10 things you wouldn’t find in Ancient Egypt and include why you would not find them there. Try not to use ‘it wasn’t invented’ more than 3 times. Think about what the weather is like in Egypt, animals that live there, the food they would have eaten and what they would have worn.

Friday- Addition Facts Choose and complete an appropriate challenge. If you are confident, complete two or more challenges!
