BE INSPIRED: MEET TAFE NSW TEACHERS AND STUDENTS

See what our students have to say about learning English at a TAFE NSW English Language Centre:

DON’T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT

Gabriel Pretto, Brazil"The most amazing part is the beautiful family environment that exists in TAFE NSW, which is exactly what international students are looking for, as we are abroad and alone when we arrive. The lectures are focused on communication and vocabulary building more than just grammar and this develops your English in a most productive way.

I’m really proud of myself and ELICOS had an important role in this achievement. Thanks for everything!!"

Karina Oliveira, Brazil"When I arrived at TAFE NSW, I was afraid to speak. I needed a school that offered a different methodology.

At TAFE NSW, I found excellent teachers and within six months, I improved my grammar, speaking, listening, reading, writing and I can communicate in English with confidence.

The recipe for effective learning has three important ingredients: Determination, good methodology and excellent teachers - and I found all three of these at TAFE NSW.”

Zhengmei Fang (Jamie), China“My agent recommended TAFE NSW English Language Centre to me because my IELTS score did not meet the requirements for Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (birth - 5), which I study now. TAFE NSW has good facilities, the classrooms are roomy with smart boards, and in the TAFE NSW library you can find professional information.

The teachers are very professional and patient. They supported me to blend into Sydney and helped me build the foundations for further study.”

Jinyong Kwon (Jin), Korea“I improved my English skills instantly, because the curriculum is very thorough and the teachers are excellent. It included writing skills, like how to write an essay and how to write the citations for the journal, as well as how essays can be improved for presentations.

I made so many good overseas friends and now, I always chat with my friends in English.”

Zagd-Ayush Bat-Ochir (Sunny), Mongolia“I remembered my first session; it was so challenging for me. However, the teachers gave me very useful information about how I can best do my assignments, which gave me fantastic motivation. TAFE NSW also taught us good time management, high quality assignment skills and were a positive influence of my further education.

My teachers are the loveliest people I have ever met in my life. I will never forget my wonderful days connected with TAFE NSW.”

We have a diverse range of nationalities studying with us. This means our students gain a rich cross-cultural understanding and make friends from all over the world. It also means that in order to communicate with classmates and teachers, English is spoken all the time.
