SEA WATER AND SAND FOR THE MARINE AQUARIUM

Sea-water. Filtered or unfiltered sea-water taken from the open Gulf at Englewood, Florida. Each shipment of live fish or of marine invertebrates is made in sea-water suf-­ficient to carry the 'specimens to their destination. ~­ever, the specimens should be promptly removed (0 a prepared aquarium as soon as possible after arrival. Natural sea-water is not just salt water but contains many kinds of salts of various metals. Some natural sea-water is desirable even if artificial sea-water is used. Shipments are made in 5 gallon glass carboys. The shipping weight of a crated carboy of sea-water is approximately 68 pounds and takes a 2nd class express rate. Carboys and bottles are charged for at $2.50 each but are returnable for full credit or cash refund. Returns should be made by railway express prepaid at the return empty rate (20¢ per carboy from any railway express agency office).
