• England is a part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, it’s an island situated off the North West coast of Europe.
• Bordered by Scotland in the north, the North Sea in the east, the English Channel in the south and Wales in the west.
• Most of England is rolling hills.• Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in
England with an elevation of 978 meters

England and Wales joined together in 1284 under the statue of Rhuddlan.
Scotland’s monarchy then joined England’s monarchy in 1603.

Cultural and heritage tourism :Britain's tourist industry is principally "cultural" and "heritage" based, and many tourists are attracted to England because of its history.
Tower Bridge
The London Eye is a giant ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. Also known as the Millennium Wheel, its official name was originally the British Airways London Eye, then the Merlin Entertainment London Eye, between January 2011 and August 2014, the EDF Energy London Eye and is now called The London Eye.
Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London,[1] and often extended to refer to the clock and the clock tower.[2] The tower is officially known as the Elizabeth Tower, renamed as such to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II (prior to being renamed in 2012 it was known as simply "Clock Tower").
Cambridge might be best known for its university, home to some of the world’s greatest minds (Milton, Darwin, Hawking, etc.). But there’s a vibrant theatre and arts scene here as well, and you’ll find fantastic contemporary restaurants mixed in with traditional pubs.

Liverpool is a vibrant city with great cultural heritage and was awarded the title of European Capital of Culture 2008, with the famous Pier Head Waterfront being a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004. Liverpool is home to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and is also renowned for being the birthplace of a wide range of popular musicians including The Beatles, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Echo & the Bunnymen and many more.
Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshire, England, about 2 miles (3 km) west of Amesbury and 8 miles (13 km) north of Salisbury. One of the most famous sites in the world, Stonehenge is the remains of a ring of standing stones set within earthworks. It is in the middle of the most dense complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England, including several hundred burial mounds
