Event Details

Date: 18 th March 2016

Venue: EC room 1-29, Coventry University

Scale of Activity: 150-200

Target Audience: Engineering students, Lecturers from every

departments, Coventry City local, Coventry City Council, and Open to

public.

Potential collaboration: Coventry University Student Union (Clubs

and societies), Culturae Mundi, Centre of Global Engagement



Introduction to Event

As SAIC launching new car and promoting EPM business cases,

this event will be major activity and reputation base for both EPMdepartment, Coventry University and SAIC/MG rover. The event will

run as whole day event and include different type of activities

throughout the day. This event will be opportunity to exhibit the

achievement of the EPM students by inviting families, friends and

other relevant audience. Furthermore the event will be awareness of

“Engineering Project Management” programme.

Pre-Preparations (EPM Coventry):

Magazine: EPM department (Head of department, Course

director, lecturers and student) to submit articles to produce

magazine for the event.

Exhibitors: We need to have select 10 to 15 confident EPM

students to work with SAIC marketing group as exhibitors

during the launching.

Posters, banners and flyers: We need to work with somedesigners to come up with attractive posters to be displayed

during the launching



Awareness and Advertisement flyers: There is need to work

with IT and communication department to create awareness of

the event before the launching

Event Tee Shirts: We need to have 3 sets of Tee shirts for the

event. One for the event organizers, one for EPM student and

another for SAIC team

Life Performance Music/Entertainment: We need to work with

the school entertainment department for setup.

Sub-committee to handle venue arrangement and decoration Arrange for press, camera man, event coverage, Fashion shows

with MG rover logo

Pre-Preparations (SAIC Group):

- Meeting with Alan Anderson to find out the possibility of the

following: Cars to display during the exhibition Marketing team to work with us during the exhibition

Car parts and other materials samples to display during

the exhibition

We plan to hold ballot draw during the exhibition. We

need to find out from Alan if there is any small thing theycan release for people to ballot

MG factory photo exhibition
