Matching funds are additional funds contributed directly to a nonprofit from a donor (or donors) to help encourage donations to your nonprofit. Matching funds should be 1:1 matches. This will allow each donor to say their donation will be DOUBLED! Your matching funds will be counted down on your nonprofit donation page.

How do individual fundraising campaigns work? • Campaigns are viewable on your organization page and

on the Nonprofits page if you filter the search to Fundraising Campaigns. Campaigns will also have unique URLs.

• Gifts made through a fundraising campaign work just like gifts made through your organization’s main page. The only gifts not eligible for hourly prizes are pre-scheduled donations.

• Gifts to campaigns have to be made on May 6 & 7, although they will be publically viewable once you approve them. They work just like organization pages. They are eligible for pre-scheduled donations, but the transaction won’t take place until giving opens at midnight.
