Our ACB is the result of an intensive market research program which took into account the requirement of switchboard builders, consultants and end users. The unique “Double Break” main contact system ensures extremely fast interruption of short circuit currents and substantially reduces main contact wear. The internally symmetrical “Double Break” structure means the moving contact is isolated from the supply voltage even when the ACB is reverse connected.

Fully tested according to EN60947-2.

The Garo range of MCCBs complies with the world’s most stringent safety standards and exceed the requirements of recognised standards. Complying with the International Standard IEC 60947-2 the range conforms to the IEC general rules for switchgear, IEC 60947-1

DISCRIMINATION CAN BE ACHIEVED BETWEEN OUR ACB, MCCB & MCB RANGE.

Garo MCCB’s range from 20A to 1000A - available with a wide range of accessories including Shunt Trip, Undervoltage Trip and ATS kit for automatic transfer between 2 power sources.

RESIDUAL CURRENT CIRCUIT BREAKERS (RCCB)

Garo RCCB’s are 10kA and are tested to standard EN 61008. Single and three phase options are available along with tripping sensitivities of 30mA, 100mA and 300mA to allow discrimination between devices. Garo also offer an S Type 63A 2-Pole & 4-Pole RCCB with selective tripping time and 300mA sensitivity.

Manufactured in our European facility and supplied with either 6kA or 10kA characteristics Garo’s MCB range offers high quality and innovative design.

Our din-clip design allows MCB’s to be removed from busbar without the need for downtime.

Single Pole, Double Pole and Three Pole devices are available with B, C & D tripping characteristics. Locking devices and auxiliary contacts are also available.

All MCB’s are tested to EN60898-1 and EN60947-2 standards by Semko and come with a 5 year warranty.

RESIDUAL CURRENT CIRCUIT BREAKERS WITH OVERCURRENT PROTECTION (RCBO)

Garo RCBO’s are manufactured in our European facility and comply with standard EN 61009. They are available with B and C characteristics in both 6kA and 10kA ranges.

As part of this range we offer single module size double pole RCBO’s which can dramatically reduce the size of a distribution board and also offer a solution for replacing MCB’s with RCBO’s in old distribution boards, without the need for extra space.

Another innovative product is our 3-Phase RCBO. These can allow individual residual current protection for each 3-Phase load without taking up the space of an MCB plus RCCB.

SURGE PROTECTION DEVICES (SPD)

Garo’s range of Surge Protection Devices offer protection from mains incoming supply level right down to equipment level. All SPDs are available with signal relays for external monitoring.

Main Distribution

The BSR range are class 1 & 2 devices according to EN62305 and Type I, II, III according to EN61643-11.

Main or Sub Distribution

The GPT range offers Type II protection according to standard EN61643-11.

Sub or Local Distribution

The PDM range offer Type III protection according to EN61643-11. Garo also supplies SPDs for DC, Photo Voltaic and Data installations.

CONTACTORS

Garo Contactors are designed for remote switching and automatic control of electrical loads according to standards IEC/EN 61095, IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and IEC/EN 60947-5-1.

Sizes range from 20A to 63A with n/o and n/c arrangements available.

TIMERS

Garo offer a full range of Digital and Electromechanical timers for every application.

As part of our range we have Astronomical versions which adjust their timing according to the solar cycle. The contacts are activated at sunrise and sunset time according to location. This does away with the need for an external photocell for lighting installations.

The Solar Panels - when the sun’s rays hit the surface of the panel it starts a reaction in cells and a direct current is generated.

Then, with the help of an inverter the energy from the panels is converted from direct current into alternating current, for use in a home or premises.

All of our EV Chargers can be fi tted with RFID, GPS and Wifi for billing purposes.

EV CHARGING FOR BUSINESS, COMMERCIAL AND ON-STREET PARKING

The Garo LS 3 charger is designed for outdoor and onstreet EV charging. It can be securely and safely mounted on the ground surface with our Ground Mounting Kit.

The LS 3 charging station comes in two versions:with two 16A sockets, Type 2with two 32A sockets, Type 2

All operate under Mode 3 with communication between the car and the charger

GARO’S FAST CHARGING UNITS SUPPLY POWER (TYPICALLY 80% CAPACITY) TO A VEHICLE IN AS LITTLE AS 20 MINUTES

With GARO GQC50 ECO, both Japanese and European vehicles fast charge from the same station.

The station’s output is 50 kW, which means that an electric car can be charged in 15-30 minutes depending on battery size. The charger is equipped with a connector for CHAdeMO standard and one for the European COMBO Standard.

The station can also be equipped with a Type 2 connector for Mode 3 AC charging.

EV CHARGING FOR YOUR HOME

Garo’s Homecharger has been designed with the homeowner in mind. It is compact, aesthetically pleasing, easy to operate and built to facilitate all makes of electric automobiles.

The front has a built-in LED display for visual communication of the charge status. Homechargers are available with Type 2 sockets or with fi xed cable Type1 or Type 2. European manufactured cars generally use Type 2 charging outlets and Type 1 is normally used for cars from Asia.

Garo’s Homecharger has an integrated CC module that handles the communication between the charging station and electric vehicles (MODE3 charge). Both connectors, Type 1 and Type 2, and the CC modules are standardised throughout the world, which means that the Garo Homecharger is future-proof.

It is made of durable PC / ABS and designed for outdoor use. Protection rating IP54.

Developed by Garo with over 20 years experience in the fi eld of outdoor power supply our range of power pillars combine an unbeatable design with functionality, quality and long life.

Made with aluminium, impact resistant material and highest density classifi cation (IPX6) ensures a long life.

Pillars are made from marine grade aluminium for a longer lasting life. Outlet combinations to suit your requirements can be specifi ed upon order.
