What is Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a nonsurgical procedure used to examine a person's digestive tract. Using an endoscope, a flexible tube with a light and camera attached to it, your doctor can view pictures of your digestive tract on a color TV

monitor.

During a bronchoscopy , your doctor will examine your throat, larynx , trachea , and lower airways.When Bronchoscopy is done:•Persistent or unexplained cough•Blood in the sputum•Inflammation in the lung•Evaluation of a possible lung infection.

Proctoscopy is a common medical procedure in which an instrument called a proctoscope (also known as a rectoscope, although the latter may be a bit longer) is used to examine the anal cavity, rectum, or sigmoid colon.

This tests are visual examination for abnormal growths (such as tumors or polyps), inflammation, bleeding, hemorrhoids, and other conditions (such as diverticulosis).
