Mechanical SealsHigh-Duty Seals

Our Type 270F, Type 8B1RS/85B1RS and Type 48 cartridge seals are designed for critical high-pressure, high-temperature and high-shaft speed applications. They can be used on boiler feedwater, circulation or start-up pumps and other high-energy applications.

Standard Cartridge Seals

The Type 5600 and Type 4600 ranges offer a comprehensive selection of universal and general service cartridge seals which have numerous applications on condensate, cooling water, raw water, ash sluice, fuel oil and many other duties. With single and dual, o-ring, elastomer bellows and metal bellows options available they can seal a wide range of fluids. They are also designed to fit standard ANSI and DIN pump seal chambers plus other rotating shaft equipment.

Fitted Seals

Often thought of as the ‘industry standard’, our elastomer bellows seal range including the original Type 1 can satisfy a wide range of applications, including tight sealing space requirements. Frequently used in centrifugal and positive displacement pumps - plus mixers, agitators, compressors, blowers, fans and other rotating equipment – they can accommodate abnormal shaft end play, run-out and equipment tolerances.

Split Seals

Available in both Type 3740 cartridge and Type 37FS Series heavy duty versions, our fully split seals allow rapid installation and maintenance without disassembling the equipment involved. They are regularly specified for everything from small centrifugal pumps to large rotating equipment including split case pumps, vertical lift pumps and side-entry mixers and agitators with severe shaft run-out.

Slurry Seals

The Type 5860, 5870 & 5840 family of slurry seals are able to handle slurries with solids contents up to 60% by weight without the need for water flush support. These seals have numerous uses in FGD slurry pumps, sludge pumps and coal slurry transportation. With several hard alloy material options for wetted metal components they can withstand severe erosion and corrosion attack.

Our programme of continuous development based on customer requirements allows us to offer a unique combination of both standard and individually-tailored fixed geometry, tilting pad, combined bearings and pedestal assemblies. Our standard bearing products including our patented ADVANTAGETM and OCITM systems meet the very highest technical demands, while bearings produced for specific individual applications can be calculated to satisfy all relevant design, engineering, performance and reliability requirements or manufactured to customer designs.

Filtration SystemsWe offer our customers a single point of supply from which they can source proven, reliable and highly effective filtration systems. Every model in our unique Indufil range of single and duplex filters features a bolted design as part of its compact, weld-free construction. This provides perfect sealing via an o-ring and back-up ring arrangement, and allows Indufil filter units to be manufactured serially according to all international design codes.

We supply large volumes of fuel gas filter systems which are designed to meet the requirements of the world’s largest manufacturers. Often supplied with all wiring to the terminal box in place, and mounted on their own skid complete with switches and level gauges, they offer a proven and reliable solution to the need for a clean and dry fuel gas supply.

Our proven lube oil filtration systems are specifically designed to meet demanding power industry requirements. They are available with numerous options such as vents, drains and ports allowing them to be closely tailored to suit individual requirements.

Our use of a bolted construction as standard allows our filtration design units to comply with a vast range of international standards including ASME VIII div. 1, PED (97/23/EC), GOST R and NORSOK. This has led to those systems becoming the technology of choice for many leading global manufacturers such as GE, Siemens, MAN Turbo, Sundyne, Rolls Royce and Solar.

in braided yarns (such as aramid, carbon and polyimide) to bulk braided packing spools plus silicone, nitrile and vegetable-fibre gaskets. Custom molded or standard o-rings, piston cups and PTFE rings are also available.

Bearing Isolators & SealsOur bearing isolators provide complete protection by completely eliminating lubricant leakage and excluding all contaminants from the bearing. Numerous designs and material combinations are available, including labyrinth and full-face contacting magnetic types, and the different configurations offered mean that there is something to suit virtually every bearing unit or gear box.
