PURPOSES

• A benchmarking exercise at the end of the Primary Cycle

• Performance data used to inform pupils, parents & schools about the achievement of each learner

NATIONAL DATA

• A total of 91 schools participated (all 62 State schools, 22 Church schools and 7 Independent schools)

• 93% of all Year 6 students sat the 2015 End of Primary Benchmark

• 487 students benefitted from one or more access arrangements and 80 were exempted from all three subjects

Warmer: Extra question at the beginning of test, not awarded marks. Aimed at helping students to focus on the speaker’s voice and familiarise themselves with the test
