The VELA-AMP central amplifiers and VELA-EXT extensions have 6 zones with independent volume. The system supports up to 256 zones, with one central amplifier and 42 extensions. Each amplifier provides 360 W RMS power to be distributed to the zones, with a maximum of 180 W per zone.It is possible to connect 2 VELA-FMIC fireman microphones and 2 VELA-MIC warning microphones to each VELA-AMP central amplifier and VELA-EXT extension. The complete system supports 32 fireman and 32 alert microphones. If EN54-16 compliance is required, only 16 fireman microphones may be connected.

• Dante connection for the transmission of alerts and background music between system components.• Each VELA-AMP central amplifier or VELA-EXT extension can be connected to a VELABUP backup amplifier,

which can be used for the announcement + background music function. In addition, it is always available as a backup amplifier in case the main amplifier fails.

• The background music can be the same or different for each central amplifier and extension. They have 1 to 3 inputs and a digital channel for background music. Each one can be configured with a different priority level.

• The PC software allows for easy configuration, routing of Dante audio channels, and priority levels.• It has 6 control inputs and 2 status outputs for connection to the alarm center.• In addition to 6 control inputs and 6 control outputs for directing inputs 1 to 3 to a specific or general zone,

playing normal messages or emergency messages to a specific or general zone, resetting faults, or connecting an end of line speaker.

• The system can be connected to a backup power supply that is used if the main power fails.• The VELA-V remote control can control the sources and volume of each VELA-AMP central amplifier or VELA-EXT

extension to which it is connected, allowing quick and easy control of the background music.
