Booking for 2021 convention hotel rooms begins 20 June 2020.Check availability at https://registration.experientevent.com/showROT211.Rotary International, in conjunction with Experient, our official housing partner, has reserved hotel rooms for convention attendees. Experient will handle all reservations. Please direct all questions and correspondence about hotels to Experient. (See contact information below.)

Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Return your completed reservation form by 17:00 Chicago time (UTC-5) on 30 April 2021. Experient may not be able to honor requests received after this date.

Complete one Hotel Reservation Form for each room you need. Experient will make every effort to reserve your room at your preferred hotel. However, if necessary, it will reserve other accommodations for you.

For a block of 15 rooms or more, submit an online request through the site mentioned above. For details, see the Group Housing Guidelines at convention.rotary.org.

Experient will begin to send confirmations in July 2020. Your confirmation will give the hotel’s name and address, the nightly room rate, the room type, the dates of your stay, and a reservation acknowledgment number. (Note that this is not the hotel confirmation number.)

TRANSPORTATION

Rotary will provide complimentary public transportation to all registered attendees who secure accommodations within the official housing block. BOOKING MULTIPLE ROOMS

If you are booking multiple reservations, please assign actual occupant details to prevent no-show penalties and cancelations. All individual reser-vations are evaluated to prevent duplicate bookings ensuring no additional hotel fees are charged to our attendees for unused room reservations. All rooms should be assigned a unique occupant name by 22 February 2021 to avoid cancelation.

6. ROOM DEPOSIT

To reserve a room, you’ll need a credit card that will be valid through the dates of the convention and won’t expire before July 2021. You will not be charged when you make the reservation. Experient will forward your payment information to the hotel. When the hotel receives all of the reservation details in May 2021, it will charge the credit card a deposit of one night’s room and tax. If your credit card is declined or is not valid, your reservation may be canceled.

8. CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS

Hotel cancellation policies vary. If you need to cancel your reservation, see your hotel reservation acknowledgment to check your hotel’s policy. Generally, cancellations need to be made by 16:00 Taipei time (UTC-8), three days before your scheduled arrival. If you cancel a reservation after that, you may lose your deposit of one night’s room and tax.  If you don’t cancel and simply don’t arrive on the day when your reservation starts, you could lose your deposit and your reservation could be canceled.

You can make any changes or cancellations through Experient until 11 May  2021, 17:00 Maryland time (UTC-4). Starting 17 May 2021, if you need to cancel or change your reservation or ask a question about it, contact the hotel directly. You can find its contact information in your confirmation. All changes are subject to availability.
