H/W Details :

4-way servers for JS22 and PS700 Blades8-way servers for PS701 BladesUp to 32 GB memory on JS22 BladesUp to 64 GB memory on PS701 BladesShared Fiber Channel storage subsystem

Capabilities & Utilization : Each partition has its own MOC (at least one) server at each redundant site With the MOC server, multiple sites can be monitored with a single terminal When a site is selected the Alarm and Status Summaries are displayed, in addition other displays such as Real Time Graphs can be viewed.Blade Center Centralized Backup and Restore (CBR) enables the system software and databases to be backed up and restored for the components based on the blade server: Sends alarms

Confidential5Capabilities & Utilization (cont.): The CSI cluster is displayed and monitored via a MOC Server.Blade Center Centralized Backup and Restore (CBR) enables the system software and databases to be backed up and restored for the components based on the blade server: Node Blade (CPs) SCM (SS7 Cluster Manager) Node Blade SPACE Blade Data and Reports System (DRS) Blade Upgrade and MOC Server (UMS) Blade Open Service Platform (OSP) Server Blade

The MOC Server is a processor configured within IN platforms Server intranet and is assigned with it's own Universal Resource Locator (URL). After logging into the MOC Server processor, a "Global Display" window spawns off your browser as a separate window. This "Global Display" window shows the current real-time status of your network seen as a matrix of pushbuttons. The "Global Display" window shows the particular MOC Server name, Release, Date and Time/Zone Stamp for that particular server in the title bar region.

Status SummaryConfidential7Capabilities & Utilization (cont.) : Surveillance information on the IN platform server provided to individual users includes: Status Summary windows showing the status of each major component of the monitored site Alarm Summary windows showing the alarms logged at the monitored site Performance windows with real-time graphs and measurement reports about system utilizationThis information is constantly updated and displayed. The user can retrieve even more detailed information by selecting individual boxes inside the Alarm Summary, Status Summary and Performance windows. The MOC Server allows users to: monitor system alarm, status, and performance information respond to alarms control software running in the monitored site

Processes SummaryConfidential9Capabilities & Utilization (cont.) : STATUS SUMMARYThe IN platforms individual site Status Summary screen provides a graphical display of the node.It provides the following functions: Health indication of software process groups Status indication of signaling interfaces Condition of feature sets and supported applicationsThe MOC Server is the primary interface to the Converged Application Server nodes and is used for maintenance and surveillance. This Status Summary Screen shows the applications processes and states of a specific IN partition.
