Here at ems (International) we have seen a number of changes since our original formation in 2008. Sincethen we have continued to grow and serve our international markets globally now supplying in to over 30countries. Building on our export success as of February 2014 we now have a presence in China as

Over the years we have expanded our product portfolio and now include many more automation productsin addition to our standard machine-tool products for both manual and CNC applications. Whilst we haveintroduced a number of low-cost solutions we remain committed to supplying only quality productsbacked by our UK based sales and service support.

2013 also saw us relocate from our original offices at 2 Nursery Court to an industrial unit on the nearbyKingsley Business Park that afforded better access, increased warehousing and facilities for after-sales,service and sub-assembly to better meet our increasing demands and expanding portfolio.

The Series DRO provides a solid die-cast aluminium case and clear 7-segment LED axis displays. With tactile rubberkeys and one-touch axis zero & dedicated function keys it has all the functionality you would expect from a performance digitalreadout. The implements a plastic housing but still retains all the functionality you would require.

The stunning Series has a clear wide viewing angle white on blue LCD graphical screen and touch sensitive ‘wipe clean’keypad than can not wear out. The LCD display can show axis information both numerically and graphically. In addition to itshuge array of built in functions it also includes a broad range of probe functions for job quality assurance. The EL600 also hasa full context sensitive graphical help menu.

The flagship Series has all the performance and functionality of the EL600 it also has a true TFT colour LCD displayallowing for the broadest viewing angle and clarity of displayed information.The also has an additional and unique bolt-hole function that allows for hole angles to be individually defined for thosepatterns where holes are not regularly spaced. The ball-scale version of the Series is directly compatible with all ball-based encoders. An adaptor cable will be requiredfor connection of legacy older style encoders with the round connector.

The EDM version of the Series is available in either 1-axis or 3-axes configurations. With in-built relays there is no needfor additional external relay hardware.Programmable preset-depth and dwell time.

The modular magnetic encoders offer all the same performance features as the standard S2 scales but are supplied inmodular spar sections for assembly directly on to the machine. This means that scale travels of up to 30m can be easily achieved.They can be directly mounted to a machined surface or to irregular or tapered surfaces using the optional scale mountingaccessories. In addition, where the alignment of the scale and reader-head can not be maintained due to machine wear or‘crabbing’ an optional guided carriage and mounting kit allows for large mounting alignment errors of up to 10mm.
