Intel Is Evolving

Intel’s Vision

We’re moving towards a world where the boundary between digital and physical is eroding, computing is truly mobile and ubiquitous and everything is smart and connected.

If it’s smart and it’s connected, it’s best with Intel

Education and Technology Gender Gaps

The Internet Gender Divide

is nearly 25% in developing nations.2

• Improved technology access spurs broad economic growth

• Bringing another 600 million women online could contribute an estimated $13 billion to $18 billion to the annual gross domestic product across 144 developing countries. 3

Globally, 63 million girls who should be in

school are not.1

• When 10% more girls go to school, a country’s GDP increases 3%4

• Educated mothers are more than twice as likely to send their children to school.5

Only 18% of computer science

degrees in the U.S. are earned by women.3

• By 2020, there will be more than 1.4 million computing-related job openings in the U.S. At current rates we can fill only 30% of those jobs with U.S. computing bachelor graduates. 3
