TO PROMOTE EMPLOYMENT AIMED AT THE
UNEMPLOYED AGED OVER 50
Incentive for employers aimed at the unemployed aged
over 50
Programme for training and employment of long-term
unemployed
Main objective: Provision of employment to
unemployed aged over 50
for a period of 12 months.

INCENTIVE FOR EMPLOYERS AIMED AT THE
UNEMPLOYED AGED OVER 50
Subsidies for the employer;
The employer will receive for each
employed person funds for salaries and
all health care and pension contributions
during the period in which this person is employed.
Period of the subsidy: Not more than 6 months
Main objective: Increasing the employability
of the persons through their inclusion in
training and employment
Programme for

National Employment Promotion Programme:
Target group: Long-term unemployed
with priority to:
- Persons aged over 50;
- Youth aged up to 29;
- Persons who are subject to monthly social
assistance.
Subsidies: The employer will receive for each
employed person funds for salaries and
all health care and pension contributions
during the period in which this person is employed
but not for more than 12 months,
depending on the Component.

Project A Chance to Work - 2015 (CITUB);
Project From Vocational Training to Effective
Employment (BIA);
Project I Learn and Succeed in Bulgaria (BICA);
Project Vocational Training for All - a Chance for
Successful Transition to Employment (PRO-CHANCE) -
Bulgarian-German Vocational Training Centre State
Enterprise
Main objective: Provision of employment to
unemployed, including unemployed aged over 50,
for a period from 3 to12 months.Measure for

UPCOMING INCENTIVE FOR PERSONS
AGED OVER 50
Subsidies for the employer:
The employer will receive for each
employed person funds in the amount of up to
50 percent for the period of the subsidy and
during the period in which this person is employed.
Period of subsidy: Not more than 12 months

Training and Employment
Face-to-face services in the Employment and Social
Assistance Centre
Project Training
and Employment
Voucher training and employment of unemployed
aged over 29 by employer in the real business or
by institutions of the local self-government
with priority to:
- Unemployed aged over 54;
- Unemployed with basic or lower level of education;
- Long-term unemployed registered with the Labour Office
for 12 and more months;
Results:
7,400 unemployed and economically inactive persons
aged over 29 are involved in employment;
4,440 unemployed and economically inactive
persons acquired qualifications;
5,550 unemployed and economically inactive persons
are involved in employment upon leaving the operation.

face Services in
the Employment
and Social
Assistance Centre
Pilot model for joint
and comprehensive service of
the citizens belonging to vulnerable groups and
individualisation of the services.
Provision of administrative services in an
integrated manner through support
of the Employment and Social Assistance
Centres (ESAC) activities.
Consultation, guidance
and information services will be provided in
order to facilitate the access of the unemployed
and welfare dependants to employment and
opportunities for social inclusion through more
active services for reducing the social
assistance period.
