EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY FINAL FILING DATE: Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 5:00PM Real Property Transfer Analyst I/II Hiring Range Level I : $3,275 - $3,603 Monthly + Benefits Hiring Range Level II : $3,580 - $3,938 Monthly + Benefits The County of Yuba is currently recruing for the posion of Real Property Transfer Analyst I/II in the Assessors Office. The Real Property Transfer Analyst I/II under limited direcon, researches and analyzes various legal documents to determine changes of ownership, and complex chain of tle situaons in order to make a decision on the need for property reassessment; answers quesons from affected property owners and the public regarding the processing and transfer of real property deeds and property reassessment decisions; maintains records or stascs related to documents processed and decisions made; may direct the work of subordinate assessment office support staff on a project or day-to-day basis and train the less experienced assessment support staff; performs other dues as assigned. The Real Property Transfer Analyst I is disnguished from the journey level of Real Property Transfer Analyst II by the performance of the more roune tasks and dues as experience is gained. Posions may be staffed at either the entry or journey level. Incumbents may advance to the Real Property Transfer Analyst II level aſter gaining experience and demonstrang proficiency which meets the qualificaons for the journey level. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the different forms of property ownership. They will be equipped to communicate informaon about property ownership including, but not limited to: transfer of tle, deeds, trusts and wills with the public, and have the ability to answer complex quesons. They will have experience in reading and analyzing various legal documents. The successful incumbent will be proficient in Excel and have experience composing professional correspondence using Microsoſt Word. Required Qualificaons: Real Property Transfer Analyst I Minimum: Equivalent to graduaon from high school and four (4) years of related experience working with legal documents in an Assessors office, Recorders office, tle company, mortgage broker, real estate office, surveying office or law office OR 1 year of college (30 units) with related coursework such as real estate, tax, legal terminology, and math and two (2) years related experience as previously defined. Preferred: In addion to the Real Property Transfer Analyst I minimum requirements, addional years of related experience as previously defined. Real Property Transfer Analyst II Minimum: In addion to the Real Property Transfer Analyst I minimum requirements, two (2) years of experience equivalent to the County's class of Real Property Transfer Analyst I. Preferred: In addion to the Real Property Transfer Analyst II minimum requirements, addional years of related experience equivalent to the Countys class of Real Property Transfer Analyst II and addional college units in a related field as previously defined. Special Requirements: DMV printout prior to hire. Must file statements of economic interest with the Yuba County Clerk/Recorder. Will be required to perform disaster service acvies pursuant to Government Code 3100-3109.
