WELCOME, VAs and Clients!!!
A little bit about me…
Rochefel Rivera (Roche) Used to be in Corporate for more than 11 years Mother of 2 children and decided to become a full-time mom in 2009. Tried a lot of businesses including MLM’s, Computer Shops and tons of direct sales.
How did I become a VA?
2012, the VA concept was introduced to me I was offered a VA job 3 weeks after my resume was posted in a site that advertises VAs for $1.58/hour While working for that client, I learned the VA business concept and the rest is history…
Again, What is a VA? As per WIKIPEDIA, a virtual assistant or VA is
generally self-employed and provides professional administrative, technical or creative (social) assistance to clients remotely from a home office.
VAs are BUSINESS-OWNERS!!!
Technically, anyone that does a certain job remotely from home is a VA.
As they say, “VA’s can do everything except bring you coffee!”
Misconception about the 2 kinds of VAs
EMPLOYEE VAs – these are VAs that apply for a home-based job from websites like onlinejobs.ph, odesk, remotestaff, virtualstafffinder, fiverr and many other agency sites.
Business owner VAs – these are VAs that put up their own websites, created portfolios and find clients by themselves without going through the VA agency sites.
VA’s are NOT an EMPLOYEE!
ENTREPRENEUR or Business
Owner!!!
