EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT // BRAD QUEEN

Those combined experiences built up his mechanical and electrical knowledge to set him up for success as a Vehicle Electronics Specialist. Brad’s primary goal at Noregon is focused on ensuring information is easy to read and understand to help technicians accurately repair a vehicle. “Because,” as he says, “I have been the end user attempting to rely on bad information, being able to ensure techs get correct information when they need it is satisfying.”

In his free time, Brad spends time with his two daughters watching movies, hanging out in the pool, or watching them participate in the sports and activities they enjoy. Brad takes it old school with his favorite movie, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, because, “It reminds me of an era I can relate to.” He likes the Panthers (especially the Panthers players he drafted in Noregon’s fantasy football league) and the Atlanta Braves. He even spends some downtime relaxing - as a mechanic. “In fact,” Brad says, “I still have and work on my first car that I paid for myself and it gave me the passion, I guess, and it’s a part of me.” He used to race short track cars and perhaps when his daughters are older, he may get back into it.

So, it’s no surprise that when Brad reaches 5 years of employment and earns 2-weeks paid time off for Noregon’s sabbatical program, he would love to go to Monaco for the F-1 race week. However, he says he might need to start saving some coins now for a pricey two-week stay!

Brad says he likes the atmosphere at Noregon where he can be himself while others can as well. “We all get along very well and have a good time while we work.” Brad says “Noregon fits me to a tee – I have the experience, I like being the go-to-guy for help, and teaching comes naturally to me.”
