WELLNESS CENTER NEWS

Linn County is moving into the Phase I re-opening process. The Wellness Center is tentatively set to re-open for resi-dents use starting Monday, June 1

st. Hours of operation for

the Wellness Center will be from 1:00-4:00pm by appoint-ment only and will be limited to (10) residents at a time. The Wellness Program team will continue to follow guidelines set by the Oregon Health Authority for the Fitness Sector. Live streaming class programming from the Chapel will continue for Channel 3 and Channel 981. Programming changes and access to the Wellness Center will be provided in incre-mental stages. Thank you for your patience and support as we transition with caution.

EARNED LEAVE CASH OUT

It is that time of year to start thinking about if you would like to cash out some of your Earned Leave (EL). The company allows you to cash out some of your Earned Leave twice a year in June and December. Your request to cash out EL needs to be received by payroll no later than June 1st to be on the June 5th paycheck. Remember if you are Full time you must leave a minimum of 40 hours in your bank to cover future time off needs and Part-time (variable hour) employ-ees must leave a minimum of 20 hours in their bank. Please refer to the Cash Out policy in the Employee Handbook if you have questions.

COMMITMENT PAY UPDATE

On March 22nd, 2020 Mennonite Village approved providing all hourly staff a temporary increase in hourly wages of an additional $2/hour for any hours worked. We are working towards phasing this temporary pay increase out. We will be reducing the extra pay to $1/hour through May 30th, 2020. While we knew we could not continue this practice indefinite-ly, we want everyone to know how much your commitment to each other and our residents has been appreciated.

Temporary Beverage Delivery Program

Call 15 minutes prior to deliver time for your beverage.

Dining Services has temporarily added beverage delivery services from Ashwood II. The morning

coffee and beverage delivery ser-vice will be at 9:30am, 10am and 10:30am. In the afternoon, de-

livery service will be at 2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm and 3:30pm.
