Aaron Fresh gives a literal meaning to the adage, breath of fresh air. Although he’s graced the stage of BET’s 106th and Park, had a major video in rotation on mainstream networks, been signed to Mr. Nick Cannon’s record label, had thousands of adoring fans screaming and tugging at him, Aaron remains humble and keeps his eyes on the prize. The 19 year old entertainer is wise beyond his years and driven to become an elite name in the industry utilizing each of his God-given talents. We caught up with Aaron to discuss life, his career and more.

He hails from Sacramento, Calif., is signed to the independent record label, Amalgam Digital and has released a slew of critically acclaimed underground mixtapes including “Chez!!?…Chill!!!,” a recent tribute to the late, great J Dilla. Earlier this year he was fea-tured in XXL’s “The Break” and he recently rocked the Harvest Season stage at the 2012 A3C Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. He’s probably one of the most intellectual – and well-read – emcees that I know and he has a tendency to base his musical projects around whatever books, places or historical figures that are currently inspiring him at the moment. His name is Chuuwee – real name “Chez” – and his latest project, “Wildstyle” has taken the entire blogosphere by storm.
