The drawings do not have to contain the whole still life.

When you find the area you want to draw, you will create a drawing that is complete using EMPHASIS. Shading and adding detail

You may chose to use pencil or charcoal when adding emphasis.

Proportion: does everything look correctly drawn

Contrast: Light against dark
