I’ve been craving doing more work with clients, and the Federal Defenders program allows me to do that. I like working directly with clients. …To do something that directly impacts someone’s life—there is nothing like it.

My Emory Law training enabled me to hit the ground running. You get the confidence from just being there to jump in and figure things out as you go.

I’m a big proponent of the LWRAP class. It is essentially what lawyers actually do—write motions, briefs, memos… My Criminal Law class is really paying off with the habeas cases. The skills you develop in your first year—legal writing and appellate advocacy—those are really paying off this summer.

Failure to do so may result in the denial or revocation of your admission, suspension or dismissal after matriculation, withdrawal of certification of graduation or revocation of your degree.

If you have been convicted of offenses other than minor traffic violations, you may have difficulty gaining Bar admission.
