• I have learned about nouns, adjectives, and verbs. For example: Nouns= person, place, or thing, adjectives= emotions, like happy, sad, excited. I have also learned about proper grammar. For example not me and Pam, Pam and I.

My Favorite Story or Novel from Language Arts

• One of my favorite stories/ novel that I read this year was The Parcel Post Kid because I liked to learn about the girls journey when she was mailed to her grandma. Another story I enjoyed was Finding the Titanic because I liked to be on the Titanic from the passengers prospective.

In Social Studies

• I learned about slaves in the 1800. For example: Slaves sang the song “Follow the Drinking Gourd” which meant follow the North star on the Big Dipper! We studied Harriet Tubman. For example: Harriet Tubman smuggled slave to the North at night.

In Science

• I learned about Ecosystems and how they break down. Example: If you pour to much pollutant in to the Ecosystem it breaks down. We studied plants and insects and how they effect the Ecosystem. Example: Plants give insects food and insects cut down overgrowth.

In Mathematics

• I learned about long division. Example: 257 divided by 6 equals 95 Reminder 2.

• We studied formulas, example: The formula for a rectangle is HxB= A.

Strengths

• One of my strengths is Social Studies. I am proud of this because it means I get to learn about America’s history.

• Another strength is reading I am proud of this because I can have a lot of adventures with books.

• I am good at Language Arts because I have read books with correct spelling and grammar.
