The Spring 2010 Ring Collection was influenced by atrip to Budapest, Hungary. The simplicity andromanticism of the city inspired me to create a simplecollection of stone rings perfect for a cocktail party orany day of the week.

Materials are 14k Gold Filled and Sterling Silver withsemi-precious stones.

About the Artist

22-year old Elizabeth Heilman is immersed in a world of fashion and jewelry design and has been building her career towards this goal

for the majority of her life. She chose to go to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee to gain a background in business, and

double majored in Human and Organizational Development and Spanish Literature.

At the age of 15, Elizabeth began making jewelry to sell in local boutiques after many years of making costume jewelry and crafts as ahobby. After seeing a local designers trunk show, Elizabeth realized that she was making the same quality pieces herself and decided

to pursue a career in design. The first store to consign ElizabethMarie Jewelry was Etui, and the stores owner El Matha Wilder

encouraged her to keep growing the business and served as an invaluable mentor to her. ! As the quality and variety of designsimproved, Elizabeth secured another local store in Houston, Texas to sell her collections and soon after high school Elizabeth moved to

Tennessee and secured an additional two Nashville locations. By 2010 ElizabethMarie Jewelry is currently sold in four upscale

boutiques throughout Nashville and Houston.

To further her knowledge of the industry, Elizabeth spent a summer in New York City interning under designer David Yurman, a summerin Nashville at advertising agency TBWA/Chiat/Day, and a summer interning in the Fine Jewelry Department at W Magazine. Theseexperiences provided her with the experience and knowledge vital to marketing and presenting her collections to the public.

The future for ElizabethMarie Jewelry depends on the customer.! As the sole designer of the website and all pieces; Elizabeth has beenworking relentlessly to constantly improve. She hopes to continue to learn new techniques so that she can keep her work consistently

competitive.

Elizabeth has brought many important personal values to her business that she tries to implement into her production and sales. ! Justlike in a large business, quality is important to Elizabeth.! She is a perfectionist, and if something is not done right she is not satisfied.Elizabeth is conforming to the pyramid of corporate social responsibility as she thinks of her economic concerns first by providingcustomers with affordable prices for the high quality pieces.! She also values strong moral and ethical interests, which have causedElizabeth to donate and participate in a wide variety of charity auctions and events. Given the chance to do it again, Elizabeth claims she

would take it, and has no plans to leave the business it at this time.
