  • 2. A flood is when a huge amount of rainfall falls and creates piles of water emerging to escape, but because there is so much rain the drains always clog up and all the water is unable to escape.
  • 3. This is caused by huge amounts of rainfall which is unsafe to drive, walk and especially swim in because if more rainfall starts to come, the river made by rain can pull you in with it and you cannot get yourself out. How is it formed?
  • 4. After a flood occurs, it can be affected very badly. There can be different type of effects on the land depending of the size and amount of rainfall that has crashed on the land or it can also depend on what type of stuff makes your land. Eg. Concrete, grass

  • 9. To predict a flood, the technology that we have now didnt exist back then and there, Normally they could just look at a radar and find lots of rain heading there way but sometimes you just have to wait for some rain and be prepared for if one does occur. What is used to predict a flood?
  • 10. Answer is NO AND YES!!!! Can animals predict disasters??? It is known a bit of both. Plenty of animals can sense the weather changing, but do not count on a kitten or puppy to tell you when a quake is approaching. Be prepared even when your dog does start barking in a different way or even just normally! Still make sure to check a radar to see the bad weather approaching you, but always be prepared!!!!
