Ultimate Hospitality

Cowes WeekCharter Cowes Week, 11-18th of August, is a key date in the corporate hospitality calendar and one of the UK’s longest running and most successful sporting events. A typical Cowes Week now has 40 classes of yacht racing, each with its own start and individual course.

A day of hospitality onboard one of our luxury powerboats or sailing yachts is the perfect way to enjoy Cowes. With our experienced skipper onboard, you can choose to sit back and relax or to help man the vessel. Throughout the day the finest food and drinks are served by an attentive crew, with a gourmet lunch served either onboard or at a beautiful waterside restaurant.

During the day there is also the option to go ashore to soak up the festival atmosphere of Cowes – explore the marina, enjoy the live music and entertainment and experience the world famous beer tent!

After an indulgent lunch onboard, or ashore at a waterside restaurant, you will board a high speed RIB or Sunseeker for an afternoon of engine powered fun. Filled with variety, excitement and beauty this day will be one not easily forgotten!

ZAP Cats! One of our more extreme corporate entertainment events.

Treat your guests to an adrenaline fuelled ride, co-piloting these amazing inflatable catamarans as they pull 90° and 180° turns at 40 miles per hour.

Perfect for guests who are adventurous and like to go fast! To ensure your guests’ safety, our experienced instructors will be co-piloting these fast and furious machines.

RIB Blast! This event is about pure, unadulterated fun! A RIB blast will see you jumping from wave to wave at speeds in excess of 50mph, resulting in guaranteed smiles all round.

While zipping along the water you will have the opportunity to explore some

of the most beautiful scenery on the south coast, including the Beaulieu River, Needles, Hurst Castle and Osborne Bay. Blasts are also available on the Thames for those who would like to explore the historic sites of London.

RIB Blasts are completely flexible, allowing you to take to the water for just a couple of hours or for a full day – perfect as a conference breakout activity or as a full hospitality day.


MotorisedMayhem

On the track, in the field and through the forest, motorised mayhem will see

you achieve it all.

Suitable for all fitness levels, this unique set of “mix and match” driving

experiences will get everyone’s adrenaline pumping. With Apache

racing buggies, quad bikes, 4x4s, argo cats, segways, blindfold and reverse

steer driving to choose from, the options are limitless.

Each activity lasts approximately an hour and is presented with comfort

and safety in mind, with shelter, a designated first aid area and soft drinks

at each station as standard.

Goodwood Track Day ExperienceIf your guests have a need for speed then a fast paced trip around Goodwood’s historic Grand Prix Circuit could be just the ticket.

First you will experience a familiarisation session in one of the circuit’s sports

saloons to prepare you for a drive in the single seaters. Then you will get behind the wheels of two cars from Goodwood’s huge collection of classic super cars which includes the Ferrari 360, E Type Jaguar and Aston Martin DB4.

To compliment the experience you will also have the opportunity to enjoy race karts, a skidpan session and a helicopter ride.

The MatchRacing Academy Created in partnership with Sunsail Racing this unique team building sailing experience offers Grand Prix style racing to amateurs and experienced sailors alike.

Onboard optimised Sunsail F40 racing yachts, with a professional World Match Racing Tour sailor on hand to demonstrate the best racing tactics, this is the closest you can get to the real thing.

Teams will take to the water, each with a professional skipper and crew, and experience a race training session followed by the first round of racing. Race teams then rotate throughout the day for this exhilarating knockout competition.

Sunseeker Poker RunThis is the World’s most exciting and exhilarating game of poker!

The Sunseeker Poker Run is our unique twist on a RIB Treasure Hunt. Your teams

will have 600HP Sunseeker Superhawks (as featured in James Bond) at their disposal, as well as their own James Bond to race them from point to point during the challenge.

The Poker Run is made up of five missions, one for each card in a full hand of poker, with each successful mission gaining them a card. Missions vary from cryptic clues, navigational challenges, photo missions and scavenger hunts to ensure

that teams must use a wide range of skills throughout the day.

At the end of the day, your teams will return to base and elect a card sharp to play their final hand in a winner takes all, suspense filled game of Poker.

RIB Treasure HuntTake to the water on high-speed RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) and use team work, problem solving skills and logic to solve cryptic clues, complete scavenger hunts, navigational challenges and photo missions.

With an experienced ‘pilot’ to help you navigate the high seas and find secret locations, you’ll experience some fantastic sights including The Needles, the Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle.

This fully flexible event can last anywhere from a few hours to a whole day. We can also incorporate questions and challenges about your company.

Search & RescueWork as a team with genuine Lifeboat crew and develop the necessary skills to co-ordinate and implement a successful Search & Rescue mission.

The day will begin with a training session to learn and practice the skills required to perform a water rescue. Once your training skills are honed you will take to the water on your search & rescue RIB to face various evolving challenges and recover the casualty.

Add an extra dimension of excitement to the day by undergoing training at the RNLI Headquarters prior to your rescue mission.


Land Based Team Building

Art HeistInspired by the real life theft of £123 million dollars worth of art from the Paris Modern Art Museum in 2010, Art Heist will see your teams entering into a trail of corruption in the heart of London. The teams’ challenge, should they choose to accept it, is to analyse and follow the trail of evidence in order to recover the art and capture the thief.

Cryptic clues, forensic evidence and the occasional drug dealer all come together in this utterly unique mad cap team building adventure.

The Italian JobBased on the classic film, the Italian Job is a fast paced treasure hunt on wheels!

Armed with a map, GPS, 2-way radios, a few cryptic clues and a Mini Cooper, each team will set off on a mission of discovery and intrigue, meeting some dangerous characters along the way. Groups must use intelligence, creativity and team work to retrieve as many gold bars as they can for the final weigh in.

This is a high-energy, laugh out loud, team building event that will have your staff thinking laterally and working together to achieve success.

Black Cab ChallengeA hilarious and interactive monopoly-style treasure hunt on wheels!

Designed to test a team’s planning, delegation, communication and time management skills, this frantic drive through London will see teams, along with their authentic cockney cabby and London A to Z, solving cryptic clues, completing scavenger hunts and getting up to all sorts with our bonus photo challenges.

Cycle SafariIt’s human instinct to explore and what better way to go about it than by bike? This event is perfect for a fun team away day at any time of year.

Each team will be provided with a scavenger pack which will take them on an adventure through the New Forest (or countryside location of your choice). Watch out though as you’re likely to run into some strange characters along the way.

The Da Vinci Code QuestA dramatic outdoor team building event that will put teams’ creativity and sense of adventure to the test.

Loosely based on the hit novel of a similar name, The Da Vinci Code Quest is a historical adventure that will see your guests on a frantic search filled with riddles and intrigue. Each team, with a briefcase full of cryptic clues gathered by the Professor over time, must attempt to solve the mystery before time runs out and the truth is buried forever.

This is one of our most popular treasure hunts, which will see teamwork, time management, logic and leadership skills put to the test. The Da Vinci Code Quest can be adapted to a number of venues throughout London, the South and the UK and works well as both a half and full-day event.

Drumming Workshop Drumming is a is a hugely motivational and interactive team building event.

Over the course of the event the experienced facilitators will have your group playing cohesively together and layering different rhythms one on top of the other – reacting and communicating as a unit. With the Drum Master at the helm, participants will learn how different rhythms come together to create one sound, in the same way as individuals and teams coming together to form a company.

A drumming event can also be tailored to your organisation with company themes cleverly threaded through the rhythms played.



School Sports DayTake a stroll down memory lane to those carefree years of hot summer days spent on the field for school sports day. Now re-live those days with one of our team building school sports day events! We’ll

provide the eggs, spoons and even the headmaster for this laugh out loud day of fun!

Your group will be split into teams, provided with coloured team t-shirts and put to the test. With challenges like the sack race, jolly hockey sticks, skipping and the three legged race, team spirits will be high and the competition fierce! Just like in the old days the event is completed with a tug-of-war grand finale.

The Games The Olympics is the ultimate representation of good-natured competition and working together to achieve success. In celebration of this fantastic occasion EMG have created The Games – a highly motivational and energetic event that will get your employees outside and interacting in a positive way.

Split into ‘countries’, teams will rotate around various sporting activities, gaining points along the way, with all of the teams coming together for a grand finale at the end of the day.

The Games can be held a variety of locations, but for the ultimate wow, EMG would recommend the 2012 Olympic rowing and kayaking Venue, Dorney Lake.

It’s a Knockout This fun filled team building day begins with a warm up to get everyone in the mood for a wacky day in the outdoors. Teams will then compete head to head to knock out the competition – all

without cheating!

Each of the knockout activities are aimed at building team cohesion, encouraging team bonding outside of the office and generally having a laugh with your colleagues! Games vary from ‘barmy bingo’ which involves dressing as a giant pensioner to the ‘hats on’ mad cap obstacle course. You have to see it to believe it!


New Forest Experience Set in the heart of the New Forest, amidst 1000 acres of undulating pastureland, lakes, pine forests and ancient woodland is the New Forest Experience.

With a selection of activities to choose from including high and low ropes, the team challenge course, woodland archery and air rifles, your team building activity can be totally flexible in terms of timings, content and level of difficulty. All of the activities on offer are designed to encourage participants to support and encourage each other; demonstrating the importance of collaboration in the work place.

For those who would also like to tie in meetings, conferences and review sessions, there is also a refurbished barn onsite which is an ideal venue and seats 100.


Survivor This outdoor, active and educational team building event is filled with challenges, survival games and team working activities.

At the start of the event, teams are briefed, let loose with just a map, compass, 2 way radios and their challenge packs and tasked with finding their way to base camp. Along the way they will face survival skills challenges and be up against time penalties for late arrivals.

Once at base camp our experts will instruct the teams on a host of survival techniques including fire starting, making shelters and foraging for food. The

Apprentice Several teams, two eagle-eyed advisors and one self-made businessman; this business adventure has it all!

Working in a charity shop, coffee shop or street stall teams must work

together to drum up sales using their own marketing and business plans.

With only a wad of cash, team clothing and a vehicle to get them started, careful planning, good leadership and a hefty dose of common sense will be vital in order for the teams to succeed.

At the end of the day it will be EMG’s ‘Alan Sugar’ who will determine the overall winner with the rest of the group going home with nothing!

The Bigger PictureThis classic team building event is centred working together to create art on a massive scale.

Your group will be split into teams and tasked with creating different sections of a replica masterpiece. Harder than it sounds, you’ll soon realise, with the help of your experienced facilitator, that communication is key. Individual success isn’t possible without the support of the team.

A fantastic event for getting your hands dirty and being creative!

The BoxLoosely based on itv’s The Cube, this is a fantastic mix of physical, mental and skills based challenges. At the start of the event each team will be presented with a box containing a variety of mysterious activities that they must successfully tackle in order to win points. While some

of the tasks will appear straight forward, with the pressure of the clock it’s never as easy as it seems. Teams will have to work strategically to make sure they gain as many points as possible.

Suitable for the indoors or outdoors this is a very versatile event. Win or loose, by the end of the day each team will have learnt how to work together more effectively.

Chocolate ApprenticeThe perfect team building event for chocolate lovers!

With the help of our professional chocolatier teams will first be schooled in the art of creating delicious artisan

chocolates. Then, armed with their newly found knowledge, the teams will be challenged to design, make and market their own brand of chocolates.

In the style of the popular television programme, The Apprentice, the finalists will then present their chocolates to the board in the hope of winning the grand prize.

At the end of the day chocolates may be eaten at leisure.

Canape CapersIn true Master Chef style, teams are provided with a variety of ingredients and, under the watchful eye of our head chef, must devise, design and deliver a selection of canapés within the allocated time scale.

Cooking ability aside, creativity, careful planning, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure are must for this tasty team trial!


Film Making With the support of our expert film and production team, your group will have the opportunity to write, produce, direct, edit and act in their own movie

Depending on your business objectives, teams can be tasked with making a company advert, thought provoking sketch or short film.

Topped off by a grand film festival at the end of the day where each film will be judged by the expert panel, this event is fantastically creative, great fun and hugely satisfying.

Cocktail MasterclassTake your hand to the intoxicating art of cocktail making, under the watchful eye of our top bottle spinners. After a session to fine-tune everyone’s understanding of how to blend flavours and perform tricks, teams will compete

to create the perfect tipple. Trickier than it sounds, each team must explain the inspiration behind their creation, in addition to all of the technical details including its alcoholic content and instructions on how to make it.

Fantastic as an afternoon or evening team building event, cocktail making is very versatile and can be held at a wide range of venues in London, the South and throughout the UK.

Circus SkillsRun away and join the circus with an EMG circus skills team building day.

Learn to juggle, walk on stilts, navigate the tight wire, toss a Diablo and build human pyramids. Circus skills are inherently cooperative, as many activities are totally dependent on mutual coordination and support.

Tackling the many challenges throughout the day will leave teams with a new found sense of team trust and achievement.



Crime Scene InvestigationBecome a Crime Scene Investigation team for the day and learn to collect and process evidence using professional techniques and equipment.

Throughout the day teams will use their new found skills in fingerprinting, ballistics testing, forensic dentistry and blood spatter in order to solve a mysterious crime.

Crime Scene Investigator is one of our most mentally challenging, yet engaging events. Over the course of the day you will see participants’ attention to detail, team working, leadership and problem solving skills put to the test.

Our experienced facilitators use a variety of games, exercises and theories to challenge your team and leave a lasting and positive impact on its functionality.

Evening & Themed Events Medieval BanquetWander back through the ages to the time of King Arthur and his round table during a Medieval Banquet. With live music playing throughout the evening and non-stop entertainment in the form of fire-eaters, jugglers, jesters and of course a magician, this event is enormous fun and perfect for Christmas or Summer corporate parties.

During the evening guests will enjoy a variety of traditional food, with the option of a number of light-hearted games during the meal such as riddles, jesting and juggling. And of course, a Medieval Banquet would not be complete without the arrival of Merlin in a puff of smoke!

Your guests’ only concern during the night will be to maintain favour with host in order to avoid the stocks!

Murder Mystery EveningWith just one evening to solve the murder teams or individuals will need all of their powers of deduction to uncover the villain.

As the drama unfolds, guests will need to identify and follow up as many of the clues as they can. Asking the right question to the right person can be the key to success, but guests must

beware of being deceived! Once the interrogation is over and the answer forms completed ,we will reveal the culprit in true Hercule Poirot style.
