Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard, Emeritus at Atherton Court is located close to the 880 Freeway in a residential area near the Railey Store, Washington Mutual, US Bank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Target, Wal-Mart, Long Drugs, Office Max, Walgreen’s and Borders. Lake Elizabeth and Central Park are also close by.

Our secured common areas, including our lovely dining room and outdoor area, give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. In addition, several medical facilities are within an easy drive, including Washington Hospital, Kaiser Permanente and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.

Our community has become well known in the area for our innovative approach to caring for this special group of seniors – an approach we call Join Their Journey®. The premise of Join Their Journey® is simple. We believe that seniors affected by Alzheimer’s or other memory disorders still have so much to contribute to life. So our goal is to create a nurturing environment and provide ongoing op-portunities every day that allow them to live purposeful, successful lives despite their disease.

Toward this end, we create specially designed memory care neighborhoods that provide a personalized, familiar and secure setting tailored to each resident’s unique needs. Within this environment, our staff joins residents in their moment, rather than trying to bring them into our reality.
