Introduction
Curriculum - a course of study or all of the courses of study offered by an institution. It supports three principal functions: Presentation Exploration Assessment
Digital Library - support curriculums by providing networked resources to students and educators.

Addressing the Needs of Different Users
Differences such as roles, goals , interests, learning styles, and prior experiences.
Techniques for addressing these differences include: Specialization Different user interfaces for different interfaces Adaptive interfaces

Emergence of National Libraries
Digital Libraries range from course to national level. National Library for Energy Science and Technology National Digital Library for Science, Mathematics,
Engineering, and Technology Represent tradeoffs in:

Curriculum Support and Digital Libraries
Individualized user interface gain increased importance. Walden Paths or other techniques are needed to reduce
complexity. Digital libraries must encompass assessment, add
learning modules, and act as a meeting place for learning.
Educators must be aware of student knowledge differentials.
We must improve the interoperability of diverse digital libraries.
